“Dub Sol” is the first single from album “Reverberations” created by percussionist/keyboardist Nevaris and bassist/producer Bill Laswell, with a dream team of musicians includes DJ Logic, Will Bernard, Peter Apfelbaum, Lockatron, and Matt Dickey. An instrumental recording of the highest level that combines dub, funk, afro-latin rhythms, turntablism, and extended improvisation. Carlos Santana said of the record, ”Love this! They've made a work of supreme creativity”. Nevaris is a musician and visual artist. He is a percussionist, keyboardist, vocalist, and composer heavily influenced by afro-latin, dub, and funk music. He was born and raised on the Upper West Side of Manhattan near Rock Steady Park. He is of European and Mexican descent with multi-generational roots in both New York City and the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. That was not the greeting he was expecting. Most do not pay heed to the map of his life that was laid out upon his skin like glyphs to read. Each had a story and more than a few had deep meanings and lasting effects. Not that they were hard to notice, but his life caused his body to look more like a giant callous in his eyes. But merely it meant he could survive and that was good when hiring an adventurer for some misguided task.

His good eye looked about the monastery, looking for a sign of a god, most monasteries were dedicated to one. When the drow made themselves visible there was maybe a little more urgency to see markings.

"This place is yours? Do you dedicate it to a god? I have stayed with those of the God of the rack. Kind sort, maybe too understanding sometimes, like Illmater himself."

Raserei hadn't answered if he needed a place to stay, he hadn't decided. Sure he could find his way to one of the many taverns, but he didn't trust people...crowds of them.

"These scars are old, healed long ago, just lingering reminders I made it is all. If you want to see the fresh ones I will need to get these hides off. So if you have medical supplies and a free bed, yes I would like to stay here."

Loud Apartment - System Breakdown - whaddya know, Nevaris and Bill Laswell (and most of the current band) collaborated before, on this 2020 album

Loud Apartment’s second studio album, System Breakdown, and first with the current lineup, was released on Oct. 23rd, 2020. The album was produced by Bill Laswell and created at Orange Music in West Orange New Jersey.

The recording of System Breakdown began in January of 2020, before the Covid-19 pandemic hit New York City. After the pandemic hit, the recording was halted and Nevaris began writing new lyrics that reflected his anger at the current administration. The band returned to the studio in the summer of 2020 and finished the album with the new material, giving the record a more political tone.
