Hey uhm… so, I am Never-ler.

I don’t have anything else to do in this infinity search for the perfect place and material for my desired invention that I want to make a reality: The Thneed. A fine something that all would people need, it would have a lot of uses, it would be a impressive knitting.

But, In the case I couldn’t ever find a place, maybe I have to go back to my family’s farm, something that… I don’t really wish.

I want to prove them that I’m much more what they say about me! I am not a failure… I can be so much more, I know I am better…

Besides the realization of my invention, these are the only ideas I have in mind right now.

Materials like silk, cotton, yarn, wool, etc, did not work for me, when I tried to knit with those materials, my thneed was not able to become something, it wasn’t soft to the touch, not even cotton! also they were unraveling from the edges, it was terrible.

THATS WHY I’M FIGHTING FOR GET THE PERFECT MATERIAL FOR IT!

Hey even if you won't find the perfect material, you shouldn't come back to your family. Didn't you think about move in the town by itself?

The town? Where my family is? Uhm… well, isn’t a big town though, there’s no so much things to do there, and well, the people is really busy in their business, so if in the case I don’t find the perfect material, I will go to the nearest town or city, I am already too far from my family’s farm now, and I would be embarrassed to face them.

Nope, I didn’t really think about it until you ask me, I don’t really mind about the color.

never-ler? is that a nickname or just your name?

It’s a nickname, my brothers nicknamed me like that when I was little just to mock me with ‘I will never reach my goals’, that’s why the ‘never’, my real name is Once-ler.

Whatever, it doesn’t really offend me, I’m used to that nickname now.
