Everything is lost now, Onceler, he can't do anything but look for hours and hours at what used to be the valley...

"Mr.Once-ler" the voice of an old man is heard, followed by whispers

"what?" Onceler pauses in confusion, takes a step back but avoids appearing weaker than he is now "I already told you, I-I have nothing to offer you."
The man looks at Once-ler in disbelief...he pauses a few times and then someone else speaks
"According to your economists and accountants...You still have some money saved, right?"
Onceler....tries to talk, but can't say much...After a few seconds a woman starts talking
"You owe us a lot Once-ler... a lot, you have tarnished your reputation... and you have left us almost bankrupt... at least you were the one who put the most money into this, so Yes...we come to ask you to pay us 20% of the damages"
onceler freezes for a moment
"I-DON'T-HAVE-ANY- MONEY! and what i have won't cover your stupid 20%"
The old man takes a step towards Onceler,the others remain silent, while some continue whispering among themselves
He extends one of his hands to put it on Onceler's shoulder, and in a calm tone he speaks
"Listen Onceler...we are business people, you more than anyone know how all this works, your lawyers and people won't help you this time, so..."
He pauses to squeeze Onceler's shoulder and look him in the eyes
"Give us the damn money, and we'll get out of here...we'll forget what you did, we'll make people forget, take it as a new beginning, will you? We worked these years together....you know we will accomplish this"
Onceler looks down to see the hand on his shoulder and then look into the man's eyes...those people worked for him for years, now everyone betrays him, everyone is saving themselves except him,but....he had another option?....he looks down again to make his last move.
