I think one of my favorite underrated sentences in TMA will forever be when Elias in MAG92 comments on him sending Jon statements while he was hunted by the law:

"A little directon never hurt anyone... so to speak."

So to speak? So to speak? My man, this "so to speak" is carrying LITERALLY THE ENTIRE PLOT OF THE SHOW on its back! A little direction hurt so so much und also it hurt literally everyone! So to speak! What the fuck are you saying, Mr. Watcher's Crown?

And it's not only said as a funny little remark or one of Elias' iconic forshwdowing moments. There is a small pause beforet he goes "so to speak". You can literally hear Elias quipping back with something he thinks sounds smart and then realizing that there is no way he could have said anything more objectively untrue. And when he tries to course correct, he does so in the dumbest way possible. Yes, that is a figure of speach, my man. That is true! And it sure as hell doesn't apply here!

Move away "Don't worry about the doctors note" this is one of the funniest sentences in the entire show!!
