personally, the most annoying part of the whole ai claude skin for ao3 is people defending using it because 'well, english isn't author's first language/they needed to check grammar/change names. etc. what do you want them to do?'.

have you opened any word processing software ever? spell-checker is a built-in feature.

if that's not enough, create a free grammarly account. it will help with the basics like punctuation, articles, correct wording, etc.

use the internet: there are dictionaries, forums, blogs dedicated to explaining every grammar rule under the sun (my inability to understand conditionals led me to places i wouldn't go with the gun. i hate conditionals to this day. fuck them).

find a beta reader. you'll get human feedback/connection and also might get a new friend.

and if you're too lazy to do any of that (all of those things that will actually help you to improve your writing, btw, unlike typing in prompts), at least tag your fic as ai-assisted (but we all know why none of the people who got caught did).
