I’m looking forward to getting classes kicked off this year, even if that does sound nerdy. I’m Professor Andros, technically, though my first name is Nick. I teach History of the Supernatural 101 and 102. Let me know if I’ll see you in either of my classes! Outside of that, how is everyone? Excited to be back?

It’s been way too long of a week. My muscles are sore, my head is aching, and someone is outside howling. Is now really the time?

Somehow, I still haven’t made any friends as the new guy. Is anyone up for giving me a tour today? I’m new to Jericho, I couldn’t resist the appeal of Nevermore so I came to find out more.

I regret that I have to inform you all that a body was found in the forest surrounding Nevermore, apparently mauled by a wild animal. I ask that you all keep caution in mind when traveling and don’t go in the forests alone. We have our best looking for the creature, and law enforcement in Jericho is on the case as well. Classes will continue as previously scheduled and businesses in town will remain open, there is no reason to believe anyone is in danger. So we will all continue working as normal. My office and my inbox are open if you need to speak with me.

Is this the normal atmosphere around here? Eerie. I wonder if I’ll see fewer of you out tonight, or if I’ll see more of you. The love of an adrenaline rush seems to push people towards danger these days.

Another year, another chance to learn. Or, at the very least, another year to blow off assignments, party hard, and bug your professors during the last week for extra credit to make up points you could have easily gotten by putting in even 15% effort at any other point during the year...Something like that. Speaking of, did anyone actually sign up for Advanced Potions this year, or should I tuck those lesson plans right back into the bottom drawer of my desk for another year? Let me know, all. Can I ask who was in the art studio today? Because it’s usually just me, but I definitely didn’t paint this piece that looks like a night landscape of Nevermore. Not complaining, just trying to find out who to compliment.
