i was pretty bummed that we didn’t get to see as much of hope, as i would have liked, and she was taken from us before we really had a chance to get to know her. but @neverasgood more that makes up for that in her portrayal. the thing is about minor characters, that while you have the liberty to make them your own, you still have to make your characterization believable, and where it could fit into canon. and this hope is so fleshed out, and so driven, and so developed from what we have in canon, and the writer’s own interpretation, that you’d think it was melissa herself writing her. and honestly, it’s made me pay more attention to and care about hope so much more as i rewatch.

Is he supposed to LISTEN to this woman’s whining all day? Whenever a word comes out of her mouth, Kilgrave is so TEMPTED to make her take the closest knife and r i p her own throat. But no... not yet. He can’t do it, not now that his plan is going so well---------- he’d have to find another PRETTY girl in the street, and follow the same routine over again.
“Have you FINISHED? I find your story quite... boring.”
