Tohru babysitting Claudia would be SO cute but we all know that if she started babysitting her, Claudia would never want Kyo to come ever again lol “Where’s that nice pretty lady??? Why does she date ur ugly ass??”

Mary considered herself, with her years of experience in Gotham, prepared to handle most things, even if the way she went about handling them was unhealthy. Falling buildings, enormous, misshapen creatures, and the weekly threat of apocalypse. Let it all flow over you like - no, not like water, closer to acid, but the metaphor still stuck.

What she was unprepared for, was the realisation that she was being followed. By someone taller than herself, but not by much. Halting on the corner, she knelt for a moment, slipping a small pistol from under one ruffled sock.

“Come out, come out,” she called as she straightened up, glancing around to try and find the figure again. Whoever they were, they were good - she had only caught the faintest glimpse from the corner of her eye. Had she not been on edge in the wake of the Arkham breakout only a week before, she wouldn’t have taken notice of it at all.
