One year anniversary. Last year I had a life changing surgery and today I celebrate the completion of my year of recovery. I’m learning to do life differently and give myself grace. It’s been as much of a mental recovery as a physical one. Chronic pain can change your outlook and so I’m undoing 20+ years of negative impact and rewriting the future.
