The location of the 118 is in a dimension of its own. They often take calls in the San Fernando Valley. And even on the coast. If they were actually in DTLA that would not happen.
Oh for sure! 9-1-1 really ignores coverage zones for any given firehouse. In doing this post, I found out the typically any Station will cover a 5 mile radius...they would only go out of that to give back up to another house on a scene or if no other units were available near by, but that’s rare.
