Look out and look again by NeverTrulySet
Hannock Hendricks, a pirate and a captain of a ship called Penguin Double-Decker, is looking for his son, Charlie, who was kidnapped by an evil guy called Bigglesworth.
With his loyal crew (Trudeau, his right hand, Paul Nicks who likes to pick up sticks, Samantha, who is actually the originator of the sticks obsession, Olly Bottomdeck, who has a crick in his neck, Samson, about whom we only know he brought letters once, and Mischief the chicken), and thanks to the map and compass leading to a hidden island (which his wife and the mother of his children, Mary, sent him), they find his son under the power of a magical amulet.
The story starts when Hendricks and Trudeau are caught while infiltrating the tower where Charlie lives. Charlie raised alarm about intruders, as due to the influence of the powerful amulet, Charlie does not remember anything about his family, fully believing Bigglesworth is his father.
Before Hendricks and Trudeau are led to the dungeon, the captain takes a proper look around the room, noticing a young woman, who has been so far referred to only as the Lookout Lady (her main job was for a long time to look out for ships).
