#new 52 rant

So I’ve been noticing a lot of New 52/Suicide Squad Harley and Jokers pop up and I think I’m gonna have to add to my rules about role playing with them. It’s not like I’m going to begrudge you for liking something I don’t. I just do not have physical capability of sticking with it. She’s the best Harley Quinn alongside her Puddin’ and no one can compare. She puts into words what I feel.

Someone please save Jason Todd by keeping him the fuck off of Batman Eternal.

There are few things I find as stupid as the way they compromise Batman and Red Hood’s characters to make them work together.

I love Barbara a lot, but I never liked how she returned as Batgirl in new 52. I felt that Babs as oracle was empowering to many disabled people out there. Babs didn't keep herself down when she was in her chair, she was still supper strong on her torso and up. She is literally seen knocking out so guys in her chair like how cool is that! Plus oracle was not only important to Bird of Prey and many Gotham bases teams, but to the Teen Titans and even the Justice League! She was one of the smartest characters in the DCU. In the new 52, her character seems to be just "hot chick who can fight crime!" plus her covers are creepy as heck sometimes. :/

((So I'm hurting [sprained my hand] and fired up, [still love you anyway, Lois lol] so here's my rant. I'm sure most of you will agree.)) I do NOT rp the New52 Clark. I may pull some details from the comics [and may reblog images], but I refuse to play one of my childhood inspirations as such an asshole. I HATE that they have taken away most of his links to humanity: his parents, the relationship with Lois, etc... His Superman uniform was given to him by both mothers. Period. Lara placed the cloth in his spaceship and Martha fashioned it together. He will always be proud of his suit because his mother made it for him. The armor is a cool idea for a KRYPTONIAN ARC. Maybe he's confused about his heritage, finding who he is and meets others of his kind at the same time. He might switch to the armor for a time because he's trying to find a balance, but he will always come back to who he is: Clark. And that includes the suit his mothers made. Kara is not such a bitch. Period. And 'Kon-El' does NOT mean what the New52 claims. It is a name given to Conner by Clark. ((Yeah, I'm sure there will be more later. Lol))
