Down to the wire and I stole the title from Rofflenet. It may change! Amelia is visited by some ghosts who have some things to say to her about Christmas. There are kittens at some point. It’s set in the near future but I tried to be vague to avoid any spoilers after season 8 or so. The spoilers that are included, you may not spot them if you read from an earlier season, since it’s a made up future!  This was what happened when I tried to write 5am fluff for my Secret Santa request. It barely has Sam or Five in it, and it's barely fluffy. They didn't want angst, so I tried to go light, but... well, it's based on A Christmas Carol, and set in the zombie apocalypse. It couldn't be helped! Hope you all like it! @runner5anna this is for you and also for @notforconsumption and @delucadarlingwriting (hope I’ve got those right!)

But I didn't want to rush it so I allowed myself to take my time and keep tweaking until it looked right (and then scrap the original idea and start over oop!) I even threw in a wild Archie Jensen because I lub her 💖💖💖

Its officially been one year since Runner Five was birthed (I started using ZR in November but for timeline reasons I decided the helicopter crash was in October).

She had only been at Mullins for a week and a half before the crash, and her tounge was still healing from being freshly cut. This was the first time she saw zoms up close; as she had been safe in a military compound in Alberta with other students once Canada started to become heavily affected, and her lack of actual training meant she was usually just doing odd jobs around Mullins instead of being sent out into the field. She had always been out of shape and couldn't ever run for more then a few seconds; but all self doubts about being fast was thrown out of the window in this very moment.
