Thank You Thursday (TYT)

Okay, you guys know how much I love weekly events, how much I just want to have something to do every day of the week.

Welp, I’ve been trying to wrack my brain for something we could do on Thursdays since that seems to be the one day of the week that I do not have an event that I participate in... and I think I’ve figured out a good one.

Most of you have been following me long enough you know about Blogger of the Week. For those that don’t know what I’m talking about, BotW is an event where I post an announcement on Monday about who the BotW is that week and then I give everyone until that Saturday to send in love and appreciation for whoever the BotW is that week. Then Saturday evening, I gather up everything everyone says and then make a masterpost out of them. Then on Sunday, I post said post with my own piece of appreciation/love added to it.

Okay, so now that you understand BotW, TYT is going to be similar in that it’s a day to spread love and appreciation. I know there are already blogs in most tumblr communities that do this, but I want to use Thursdays to spread love.

Every day, Thursday or not, I will be accepting asks (anon or not anon) that show love and appreciation for another blogger.

They do not have to be in the writing community.

It can be whoever you want it to be, so that’s the difference between BotW and TYT. BotW is a week dedicated to one person. TYT is for anybody that you appreciate. Every Thursday, I will gather up the asks I received that day and I will post a masterpost of all of the love I have received for other bloggers.

If you send love to me, please specify that it’s for TYT if you want me to post it for this event.

Otherwise... I think it’s pretty well explained. You send in love for a blogger, I post it on Thursday. If you’re on anon, I’ll only tag the person you are sending love to (unless you specify who you are, since I know some people use anon as to not confuse people), but if you are not on anon, I’ll tag your blog, so keep that in mind.
