i really love ch 1 so far. and im glad ur on tumblr, so i indulged myself a bit w ur chibi sylus ficlets (๑ゝω·)ﾉ♡ and they r so so soooo good! i want to draw him perched on reader's shoulder so bad. i hope u continue the series if u feel like doing so.

hey, look at me. you know this whole protest/boycott isn't just about saving the new "white boy of the month" right? that you cant be vindictive assholes about "people only caring about valko and banding together for him alone" and "conveniently leaving other issues out in their petitions". you know this is about setting paper games/infold straight and wanting them to actually hear us and that together we can actually be stronger than the hate which set a precedent of this company actually caving into ridiculous demands, right? you know this is bigger than valko, right? it's really important you know that.

Sylus hates seeing you distraught.

The big bad boss-man of Onychinus has watched you listlessly mope around the base for far too long. The twins and Mephisto can’t get you to play. You’re too sad to even submit to his clingy cuddles.

That simply won’t do. At least this new shipment of state of the art weaponry needs a test run.

He strides past your view all dressed up in his riding leathers and packing heat. It makes you sit up from your sad moping in a fluffy blanket with a little wolf plush.

You watch him stretch out his neck and tug leather gloves on like a little cat peering over the back of the couch.

“Sy… where you going?”

A swirl of his evol has his helmet settling in hand to tuck it under his arm while he puts on his sunglasses. He glances at you. It takes step strides for him to be in your space and pressing a kiss to your crown. Then he’s walking out the door, hand lazily waving.

“I’m getting your wolf back.”

You barely register his words before you’re scrambling around the base to get dressed too.

“WAIT FOR ME-! IM COMING WITH YOU-!”

I was one of those players who didn't want a 6th LI, because it would have been way too much to farm, too much story, and too much time spent in the game. It made me reluctant to even try it out. I didn't like Caleb when he came out, and I didn't like Valko. But with Valko, I knew I would change my mind eventually. And it happened: I saw his whole presentation and I thought, Why didn't you start there, Infold? Why didn't you drop more hints? Why didn't you tease us more, or tease your community in CN more? Why did you choose that strategy?

There were so many ways to release this guy… I know that making game decisions is very complicated, and there is a whole chain of people involved. But it is even more devastating to see things canceled instead of paused to take a step back. Valko would have been a lovely LI.

My personal issue wasn't about the character itself—it never was. I even liked him after having more touchpoints with his character. I will still stand by my point regarding the issues I have pointed out over the last couple of days. The problem was never Valko; it was the overall issues and the total lack of consideration toward what global fans were asking for.

Infold should have taken something like that more into consideration. We have been on hold for over a year and a half with 5 LIs (and yeah, there were hints and giant disclaimers about "coming soon"), but most players got accustomed and very attached to their mains. Introducing someone new when everyone is already holding their favorite character so close feels, of course, like a threat.

I feel like my favorite game is being set on fire because a "few" people were upset—maybe people with too much money, too much influence, and too much time. I see this community on fire, pointing fingers at each other, for what exactly?

The company decided to side with their 75% of spenders in CN, and this is the consequence of all of that: a broken community and a very dark future for this game.

If the global server shuts down, I will grieve for each LI. I will be so sad that hate won over a game that is supposed to be about Love.

Emotions are high, and there is no way to control the damage that's been done by now. I don't know how to feel about this game anymore. I will hold Sylus in my heart forever. Maybe with this, my journey with Love and Deepspace has come to an end.

So Valko just got canceled. I'm absolutely shocked about the whole situation within this fandom and how poorly the crisis management was...

I feel sorry for those who wanted Valko and I'm sorry that something like this needed to happen so that they eventually work on the main story of other LI.

Don't know... This feels like an infection point for Love and Deepspace.
