New Glory + New Belgium Cargo Short Flex IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Mostly grapefruit and orange citrus in the nose, and some pine in the background too. Nicely balanced and pretty prototypical West Coast IPA, and a nice clean and bitter finish. Doesn't stand out, but hits the mark quite well.

40 years ago the first Rainbow Flag made its debut at the 1978 Gay and Lesbian FreedomDay March in San Francisco. The “Speak Out for Justice” organizing committee tasked Gilbert Baker to design “New Glory” - as the flag was affectionately called - as a symbol of celebration for the LGBT community.

The Rainbow Flag’s original eight colors were...

Pink: Sexuality Red: Light Orange: Healing Yellow: The Sun Green: Natural Serenity Turquoise: Art Indigo: Harmony Violet: Spirit

New Glory Ubahdank West Coast IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A really classic hop profile on this with a slightly tropical twist from the mosaic. Nice bright hop notes up front with plenty of herbal/pine qualities, and an easy-drinking lighter body with a lingering bitterness.

New Glory Lupulin Trigger IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A pretty standard hazy IPA with what you’d expect -- nice orange citrus, fainter tropical fruit, and some herbal qualities. The body is slightly thicker, and pretty easy-drinking. Doesn’t particularly stand out, but no faults, either.

New Glory + Berryessa If it Flies, It Spies West Coast DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Lots of bright tropical and stone fruit and a more standard mix of pine/citrus behind it. A slight haze to the body, some nice fruity sweetness to balance, and a touch of resin on the finish. Balanced, and quite good.
