Berryessa Separation Anxiety IPA (Picked up at Bev-Mo). A 3 of 4. Lots of bright tropical and stone fruit in the nose and a nice, lighter, clean body. On the lighter side re: bitterness -- one might mistake this for a pale ale, but its hop profile is quite great. Drinks very easily and the light body is quite refreshing.

Berryessa’s Tufts Ship IPA (Picked up at Bev-Mo). A 3 of 4. Smells of tropical fruit and some interesting berry-like notes. Lighter body with just a touch of haze to it, and much the same hop profile in the body with mostly fruit and berry. Some pine and resin mid-body, as well as a decent amount of grain sweetness. Solid IPA.

Finally, driving home from Clear Lake and on my own, I pulled over and took a look around. It was a beautiful but breezy Friday afternoon. While I still intend to go back some day and spend more than 15 minutes…

New Glory + Berryessa If it Flies, It Spies West Coast DIPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Lots of bright tropical and stone fruit and a more standard mix of pine/citrus behind it. A slight haze to the body, some nice fruity sweetness to balance, and a touch of resin on the finish. Balanced, and quite good.
