i wish people would talk about the way dream treated tubbo during nlm more often. the manipulating him into exiling tommy people acknowledge yes but the convincing them they were friends and always always watching him is soooo. anywhere tubbo goes he "runs into" dream ands its so so unsettling. tubbo comments on it a lot. how frequently he sees dream around, just watching him. and hes unsettled for a bit but it turns into him being glad he gets to see his friend dream more often.

the way he gets tubbo to believe theyre actually friends and his constant praise of him for his good work as president is what makes the confrontation in the community house all the worse. the second tubbo hands over the disc dream instantly drops the mask (heh) and calls tubbo an idiot and a horrible president and god. godddd. its so crushing.
