I don’t post or boost negative propaganda about any of the hotties. If you really hate that someone is winning, send me positive propaganda for their hot opponent instead. A lot of these hotties were flawed or problematic in some way—or straight up garbage—but for reasons I go into here, I don't boost anti-propaganda.

Henry Baker
Henry was made for a role play with @starliight-musings.
His mother died when he was nine years old and his father raised him alone after that, while drowning his feelings in alcohol and trying to deal with the debt after his wife's stay in the hospital. When Henry was 18, a man named Charles Duncan came by and offered to let Henry pay off his father's debt, and made it seem like if Henry didn't accept, his father would be killed.

Whumper Henry (er!Henry):
Henry managed to negotiate with Charles so that Charles would pay for his education so that Henry would be able to make himself useful and pay off the debt. He went to college and was very cool for a few years, but thanks to Charles, that didn't last. Henry grew up and started a demolition company, and then a cleaning company. For the right price, he can make anything disappear.
While er!Henry is good at the core, that core has been beaten and bruised and covered in fear and anger issues, privilege and money.

In this version, Henry agreed to pay off his father's debt - and accidentally sold himself into slavery. Oops? Charles uses ee!Henry to bribe and blackmail people as he sees fit. This story is very NSFM but I haven't written any of it down yet.

What if Henry mever met Charles and got to just be himself in his wonderful self? Well, he would go to college with the help of some scholarships and be very queer and do a lot of activism. Eventually he works for and then runs a shelter that focuses on helping homeless queer people and runaways.

villain!Henry
In a world where some people have superpowers, 19-year-old Henry was walking outside when some powered people were fighting. The fight caused a building to collapse over Henry, nearly killing him. He wakes up in a hospital bed, where he is told that Charles Duncan saved his life and that he now owed his life to Charles. Through a lot of experiments, Charles's team gave Henry superstrength, speed and enhanced healing. Henry became the supervillain Mass Destruction, and was forced to do whatever Charles told him to.

Maya can get you pretty much anything you want, if you're willing to pay the price. If you don't have money, she might agree to let you owe her a favor instead.

There is drama, there is torture, and the relationship will be hard to save.

Hanae is a burglar who thinks she's breaking into an empty house, and is surprised when Parker pins her to the wall with a knife to her throat. They tie her to the bed until they decide she's scared enough to let her go (and also Parker is too tired to keep going). They meet again some weeks later at a BDSM conference. It's very awkward but they go get milkshakes and talk. Instead of asking Parker on a date like a normal person, Hanae decides to dress up and break in again - and that's when we stopped writing, so who knows what will happen.

Adoption has an important role in the religion in Auria, and when Tira was eight, she was adopted by a noble family and given the name Norina. Norina works hard to fit in with her new family, to be as similar to her new family as she can in how she looks, acts and thinks, and she becomes deeply religious. When she is 20 she gets adopted again, this time into the royal family, so that she can marry the prince of a neighbouring country and prevent a war. Unfortunately, on the way to her new countries, she is kidnapped by pirates.

Welcome to the HOT AND VINTAGE MOVIE STARS tournament! We are currently on a break between tournaments, having just finished the Hot & Vintage Movie Man Tournament last week. The Hot & Vintage Movie Women Tournament starts next week on February 29th (Leap Year Day) MARCH 2ND. The submission form for the ladies is now closed.
All polls—including ongoing polls, previous rounds, old tournaments, the various shadow brackets, and fun mini polls—can be found in the #hotvintagepoll tag. Every poll in the Hot & Vintage Women Tournament will be tagged with the hot woman in it if you need to search for a hot woman in particular. There have been around 400+ submissions, so Round 1 will probably be posted over the course of a few days.

“I have propaganda for the hot women!” Great! Please don't send or tag me in any hot women propaganda until the poll including that hot lady is posted.
"....but you're posting gifsets of hot ladies?" Yes. As a special treat to myself I get to post a little additional propaganda of my own between tournaments. (Once the tournament begins I am sworn to neutrality and only post the propaganda sent to me.) The gifsets I reblog are not representative of my own views—ie I reblog both my secret favorites and other hot ladies who were submitted numerous times—and are intended just to get us in the Hot Lady spirit™.
“How do I send in hot women propaganda once the tournament starts?” Send me an ask, or reblog the poll and add your propaganda to it. I don’t boost all the propaganda I see or receive, but I try to boost the best of the best.
If you’re submitting propaganda for your hot lady, I don’t accept propaganda that’s from beyond the end of this tournament’s era (ie don’t send me pics of them from after 1970). I also don’t accept them acting in TV shows unless it’s clearly a cameo where they’re playing themselves (ie, no I Love Lucy or Catwoman appearances). I'm more likely to post your propaganda if it's not extremely long.
I don’t post or boost negative propaganda about any hot woman. If you really hate that a certain hot woman is winning, send me positive propaganda for their hot opponent. If you think a hot woman shouldn’t even be included in the tournaments because of scummy things she did in her lifetime, please read my take on it here.
"Can I still submit propaganda for the hot men?" You can, I guess, but it's a bit pointless because there's no tournament for the hot men going on right now, and I won't post it. Toshiro Mifune was crowned winner and every other nominated hot man was sent to the shadow realm.
"I'm catching up on the brackets now! How do I find out more about the Hot Men tournament?" You can do a tag search for a specific hot man if you want to see if he was included and all his propaganda, or you can just go into the #hotvintagepoll tag in my archive and dig through the old posts to see everything. I've turned most of the rounds into featured tags in the archive to make it easy to follow the tournament (#round 1, #round 2, etc).
If I see repetitive, trolling, and/or bigoted remarks in the comments, I may block you from this bracket. If you want to point out a hot woman’s flaws or misdemeanors, that’s fine, but if I see consistent bad-faith trolling, you will be blocked.
On that note—if you have an issue with a poll, don't be a dick and I'll try to solve it. If you hate a poll pic, complain AND send me something I could use instead. Welcome to the HOT AND VINTAGE MOVIE STARS bracket! we are currently voting on the HOTTEST and VINTAGEST male movie stars from 1910-1970. (we will do the ladies next.) Submissions for hot vintage men are now closed, but we are accepting propaganda for those already in the bracket.
Round 3 of the Hot & Vintage Men Tournament will be posted Saturday, January 20th, with some spillover to Sunday, and will last a week. All the round 3 polls can be found and voted on under the tag #round 3. All polls—including previous rounds, the now-finished shadow bracket of hot men who didn’t pass round 1, plus fun mini polls—can be found in the #hotvintagepoll tag. Every poll in the Hot & Vintage Men Tournament is tagged with the hot man in it if you need to search for a hot man in particular.
Between rounds—so any point up to the night of Thursday the 18th—any propaganda for a round 3 contestant sent to my asks may be added to the poll descriptions. I accept video links, photos, and text propaganda, but not gifs at this stage (I can’t copy them into the posts without problems).
