DINOSAURS
Hidden frames from Entry #82.
What I took away from Entry #79:
Here I thought MH had already used every creepy dilapidated structure in Alabama, but this new location is perfect.
THIS ENTRY WAS SUPER SUSPENSEFUL. I was on edge the whole time. Hoody continues to be a magnificent bastard, but he's not looking so well. Letting yourself get cornered whilst having a coughing fit and having to lash out with a wrench to get away kind of punctures one's whole 'mysterious, omnipresent chessmaster' image a bit.
I appreciate that Jay has gotten better at stealth over the years, but he's still not good enough. Tim must be half-deaf to be that oblivious.
I can't tell if Tim's apparent familiarity with the place is actually suspicious (he seemed to know where to look), or if it just feels that way because Jay finds it suspicious.
Did Tim exit that basement area through the sewers? 'Cause he kinda just disappeared (He knew he was being followed, but did he realize by whom).
Hoody has a thing for non-consensual photoshoots. Creepy.
THE ARK HAS BEEN MENTIONED. I REPEAT: THE ARK IS STILL A THING AND IS APPARENTLY STILL IMPORTANT.
Jay's master plan in this pivotal moment: Wait around and watch the building. Maybe break a window when I get bored. No rush.
JAY MY SWEET BABBY
Tim you stop that with your logic and reason. We don't need that here.
JAY MY BABBY
Can we talk about Alex for a second, though?
I know he's an awful little shit and he deserves some kind of justice for all the bad things he's done. I mean, he tried to kill Jay and Jessica, TWICE, EVEN AFTER THEY HAD LOST THEIR MEMORY. AND YET- Right when he was about to shoot Jessica, he covered his eyes with one hand. He didn't want to look. He didn't want to see what he was about to do. And his whole "This is all Jay's fault, this has to be done" speech? That just reeks of a guilty conscience trying to rationalize doing something that it knows is terrible. Alex Kralie's a killer, yes. But he's not a stone-cold killer (or at least, not back when this was filmed).
