Angela knocked sharply on the door before she entered the examination room. This was not her first physical assessment for the day, and she was a touch less perky than she may have been to begin with. Still, not a hair was out of place, all of it pulled up into a sensible ponytail, and her crisp white coat was as impeccable as ever. Presentation mattered, after all, even in the ventures of her profession that did not involve life or death situations. Despite her admitted lack of enthusiasm for the proceedings, Angela met the eyes of the girl sitting on the table with a kind smile. Yes, girl was the correct word. She looked even younger than Lena had when she had sat on a similar table for her first physical, swinging her legs with a grin, greeting her with a “Hiya, Doc!” Since her time with Overwatch, though, Angela had learned that appearances were not always an accurate measure of one’s own potential. “Good afternoon, Miss Rose. My name is Dr. Ziegler. First I’m going to ask you a few questions, and then I’m going to run a few tests.” She did not bother asking if it was okay, though that would be considered a misstep in general practice. Miss Rose’s enlistment was considered consent for this, at least. “Are you on any medications? And do you have any known allergies?”
Rethinking behavior patterns
Sometimes in a situation instead of doing what your natural tendencies would do, maybe you just need to take a deep breath, wait, walk away, and be still. Impulsive moves can sometimes prevent solutions and great growth, and even more misunderstanding. It might lead you to the same exact answer you instinctively knew from day one. But it is wonderful to see how one can evolve and grow from changing a behavior pattern.

The Re-Birth of Social Media
The Re-Birth of Social Media
The NEW Social Media Social media is becoming an integral part of our society today, it is quickly becoming a replacement for the traditional media platforms we all grew up with. But did social media already reach its pinnacle? Taking a look at social media as a whole, I associate it with Television and the Internet. In both of these platforms we saw the emergence of their rapid success and…
