Been thinking about a bunch of Mélopée-funèbre (my original race) x other races. In that case about a Mélopée (Complainte) x a random asian breed Lien had with her when coming to France. Drew this one thinking about arowanas for the thick scales, colored it and then began wondering why the color scheme was familiar. Like veeery familiar. It's the same color as the Kamikaze tokkotai plane during the WWs. Like how the f*ck did I not saw this while planning the color pattern XXXD. That's what you get for drawing something at 2 in the morning. Well I guess now I have another breed of dragon to my list. Someone on the discord suggested Reisen-ryu for this breed, and I quite like the ring of it. Rei can be traduced as 'ghost, spirit' or 'rule, order, command', Sen as 'battle,war' and well Ryu for dragon. I think they'll be a specie kinda like a seabird. Like the frigate bird. Maybe or maybe not a fire breathing breed, at least if they are it'll be a veeeery weak breathing ability. This particular dragon in the drawing would become like either an ambassador in Japan or would migrate on its own there and produce expand that new specie. Maybe? Idk? Kinda?
