I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving if you celebrate it! If not, I hope all has been well!

So sorry for the silence. I hope that you guys enjoyed the last chapter of Escape if you've gotten to it and I honestly hope you enjoyed the series as a whole. Still feels weird to open my laptop and not go into the next chapter haha

But anyway, I've been trying to get around to setting up a new series for you, it's just been a pretty hectic few weeks on my end. First with Thanksgiving and all and then I've been dealing with court dates, paperwork and all that....divorce sucks.

I have a bit of a calm zone for now, so we'll see what I can get going here. I'll try to have more info for you guys later this week.

Writing Update, 6/30 (part 2)

As happens every six months or so, I’ve had a sudden perfect-storm fit of motivation/creativity/brain cooperation/muse cooperation and managed to get some things written, including a long-neglected cliffhanger that has needed resolving for way too long.

The Department is finished with the exception of the epilogue, which I’m moving to the back burner for a couple of weeks. Thank you to everyone who’s been reading this one for the last two years, it’s been too much fun and I’m going to miss this gang way too much. Thank you all for all the comments here and over at AO3, they were just about all that kept me going through a difficult year <3

The Money Shot has a new chapter ready to post. Short and (not so) sweet looks like the way this one is going to go.

Jack Montague has a new chapter ready - not the final chapter but we’re very close, maybe just one or two more to go (I’d like it to end at 69 because *appropriate* but weird numbers bug the fire out of me so we’ll see what happens there). I know I made you guys wait 7 months to find out what happened to Loki but this chapter fixes that.

Stop The World (And Melt With You) will probably start in the next couple of weeks. I wanted to take a little hiatus after finishing The Department, but I don’t know if that’s going to happen or not. Stay tuned I guess.

Now I have to decide how to post the two completed chapters. Both this weekend? Space them out a week?

so, I’ve been gone a bit haha.

i won’t sugarcoat it, I’ve been extremely depressed and have had no motivation to write or even scroll through tumblr in the last couple of months. the thought of even trying to be creative was so exhausting that i haven’t even attempted. but my therapist reminded me of how much i enjoyed writing and gave me the assignment to try and write even just a little. and, in typical therapist fashion, she was totally write (right).

i also noticed after checking my notifications for the first time in weeks, that i have reached 200 followers! now’s a good a time as any to get back into the swing of things. be on the lookout for a new fic coming tonight or tomorrow morning. thank you so much for sticking around. it means very, very much to me.
