Hi obviously I cannot comment directly or go off anon because I don’t want to be doxxed, but I work for one of Jack Dorsey’s companies and you are spot on about the new Vine app. Assume anything that man is involved with uses AI or is training AI. & yes I would quit if my health insurance wasn’t tied to my job and the job market wasn’t bonkers.
(in regards to this post)
While obviously I have to take an anon with a grain of salt, I appreciate you reaching out. The more I hear about Jack Dorsey the more concerned about all of this I get- I was honestly just completely unaware of him before this- my partner, who is more connected than i am, said that his image was somewhat laundered by the fact that Elon was just so much worse than everyone else that people just kind of forget that he sucks too.
If you're comfortable emailing verification of your employment to me @ [email protected] I won't share it and will instead just reblog this with a little verified comment, but I also completely understand if you aren't comfortable doing that, I am a stranger!
Either way: my conclusion on all of this is just that while we do not have Proof that DiVine is an AI trainer
AI permissions are embedded in its settings
It is coded with AI
Jack Dorsey's nonprofit AndOtherThings is heavily involved with AI and does AI training elsewhere
Video AI training works better on shorter videos
Jack Dorsey is besties with Elon, and so should probably not be considered with good faith and trust in the first place.
since there is no reliable way to screen for AI video, even if we did take the mission statement in good faith, it would not work
So I am comfortable drawing the conclusion that Vine has Come Back Wrong and this is all profit motivated and extremely suspicious.
