Well, that’s the idea anyway. My goal for March 6th is to hit 250 on the scale. As of today (January 20th), I’m at 259.7! So I’m making some progress to that result.
Originally part of that goal included a Dry December - that was a decision made totally by me and not influenced by medical suggestions of any kind. Then, less than 10 days into the month, I had a curve ball thrown at me - I started new medication that indicated I should avoid alcohol. So that made it a little easier.
I still haven’t touched alcoholic beer since November 30th. I’ve had some drinks that have less than 1% of alcoholic content but since those are legally qualified as non-alcoholic, I will qualify myself as still sober for (*checks math*) 51 days.
So, the new challenge - can I lose 9.7 pounds in 46 days? The math works out to approximately 0.2 pounds per day to lose, or roughly 1.6 pounds per week. Funny how math works out sometimes - 1.6 pounds per week is my ideal loss rate these days.
Off I go! I can’t guarantee that I will stay dry between now and March 6th; but I’m going to keep counting the days as they go. Part of me wants to see how high I can go beer-free!
I’ve gone down to 161! And that was really only cutting down on portions and eating wheat bread. I haven’t been watching it as much as week one so I’ll have to get back on that but it’s great to finally be under 165 again.
Weight Progress!!
Guys!! I’m happy to report that I am officially 151.2 (as of 2/01/19). DOWN 10 POUNDS SINCE 12/22/18!
I was stuck in a funk for most of January. I weigh in every Thursday morning and I kept hitting 152 or 153 and I was soooo frustrated.
So, I hit a 18 hour fast and then had a big, greasy meal of loaded fries with a margarita. The next day, I did another long fast (maybe 18 to 24 hours) and then did another big, not so stringent meal.
Then I went back to the strict, straight and narrow road and upped my fasting from 16:8 to 18:6 and guys, I could literally feel my body adjusting/changing gears, churning and getting me out of that stupid plateau.
It’s sounds weird but it totally worked for me and just to let you guys know, no where in my fasting did I feel dizzy, ill, shaky or hungry. I actually felt great. The big, greasy meals actually made me feel a little woozy, but thank God for water and rest.
lol! My goal this week is to hit the 140s! Even if it’s 149.9, I’ll be thankful! That’s 1.3 pounds I need to lose this week.
Also, I’m going to make my goal be to lose a pound a week and be out of the 140s by the end of March #fingerscrossed
Saya kumain! Sarap kumain! Wuhoo! Sarap mabuhay! Bye diet! See you soon :))
Mixed up randomness
I want it all and I want it now. Ok, let's go get it. ...I'm freaking out and I'm easing myself down with über machtige Musik would take it to the next level trying my new home experiment: cold blueberry tea, cinnamon and hibiscus absolut vodka...but that would spoil my recently acquired new weight (59.3 kgs...I think those are 130 lbs) and I'm way too happy right now...and freaking out once more and yeah. Just ignore this superficial girly post, I'll go back to my wolves, tea solutions to all kinds of pains and disorders and yeah.
P.S: fellow, continue making fun out of my mother language and I promise I'll give you the time of your life including a pretty nice branding on your forehead gaucho style. Yes, things can get ugly here on south of heaven and I'm a enraged starving nervewracked linguist. Literally starving intensifying my rage. Kids don't try this at home and don't make a cult out of this either.
Resolution.
I know a lot of people make weight loss resolutions and they don't always work for them but, recently I have talked my mom into buying only healthy food so I won't have any temptation. The only thing that is bad about it is that my Aunt got me a 15 dollar gift card to McDonald's. So I can use that on a milkshake for that one day sweets break everyone needs. But you can't eat to much of it.
I have found that eating little snacks during the day does help weight loss. A few cashews for a snack every two hours keeps your metabolism up so you burn fat through out the day.
My daily eating plan:
Breakfast : One fruit cup drained of juice of my choice. Yogurt. Small bowl of oatmeal. (Cause I like that shit. )
Snacks : Pretzel, Cashew.
Lunch : Peanut butter and jelly, fruit cup of choice, glass of milk.
snack.
Dinner : (Whatever my mom is cooking in a small portion.)
Dessert. : Only on Fridays.
Exercise plan :
Morning : Jog twice around the block , crunches, stretches, pushups. (I have a big block, but I can only do my morning jog on weekends.)
After school : Ride my bike for a half hour one way and then a half hour back home.
After dinner and before bed: Crunches, sit ups, push ups.
So I'm starting at 147. Hoping to get down to at least 125.
Wish me luck.
