New TFC OC MR. JINGLE!!!
I love the scary sea creature trying to mate x clueless human who’s just glad they have a new friend trope
You’re on a small holiday in a beach house you rented trying to get away from all the stress from your job, taking some space. Time for yourself to recharge your social battery.
You love every single thing about it. The long walks you take on the beach, no thoughts just the sound of the waves slowly washing up. The quieter peaceful nights with the cool breeze filling your room. You’ve even made a habit to wake up early each morning to watch the sunrise.
Your friends did offer to accompany you and you were grateful but you needed this alone time. As much as you loved them your social battery can’t even handle them sometimes.
So the days pass by with you lounging around, swimming, tanning on the beach without a care in the world.
Until one day when you sit down on one the houses wooden steps to watch the sunrise you notice movement in the water. You watch as the water splashes for a few seconds before it stills.
Slowly, very slowly, a head slowly emerges from the surface. Only the top of it though. Just enough for the eyes to be above water.
You never see people swimming this early, how long have they been here?
You don’t dwell on them for too long as your attention drift to the sun slowly rising. You feel your breath being taken away as the waters surface reflects the light almost glittering. You never get tired of it even after seeing it everyday.
It seems the person feels the same way as they slowly rise higher out of the water and watch the view. You feel a strange connection. Like it’s in intimate moment. This is a complete stranger but you both are the only ones here who are witnessing such a beautiful sight.
You tense up when you notice something moving under the surface near them. You’re sure they’re not the one causing they seem to be standing completely still.
You start moving, urgency in your step until your stepping in wet sand and the water completely soaks the bottom of your pajama pants “Hey watch out! I think something is-“ The person startles and whips around. Your words die in your throat as you take them in.
Long pointed ears. Pale almost translucent skin. Small slits on the sides of their neck that you normally wouldn’t catch if it weren’t for them aggressively flaring. White terrified eyes.
And the splashing around them was a tail.
Their tail.
You can’t take your eyes off of it. Dark green scales glittering in the light.
When they notice your stare they quickly duck their head underwater. Their tail splashing once before any trace of them is gone.
You took a walk in the morning. As well as in the afternoon. You kept looking out your window but there was nothing in the water.
You sat and watched the sunset and waited but nothing. For once the view didn’t have your full attention.
Even as the sky got dark and you started rubbing your arms from the cold bite of the air you didn’t move. You couldn’t. All you could think about was the creature you saw this morning.
You knew it was really early and maybe you weren’t fully awake but there was no way your imagination was that strong.
You hug your knees and rest your chin on your arms. You let exhaustion consume your body and your eyes flutter shut as you slowly drift to sleep. The sound of the waves lulling to you to sleep.
You wake up laying on your back with a weight pressing on your chest. You groan and slowly blink. You vision takes a second to clear up but when it does you’re met with white eyes looking into yours. You gasp and quickly sit up, scaring the poor creature in front of you as well and sending him scattering away.
He doesn’t jump into the water but he’s close enough to where he could make a quick escape. He looks at you with alarm and fear in his eyes as he nervously looks between you and the water, as if debating his options.
You try to calm your breathing even though your heart is pounding in your chest “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scare you.” You say in a hushed tone and he perks up. He seems to understand that you’re not a threat but you’re not sure if he understands what you’re actually saying “Can you..understand me?” Whether he does he doesn’t show but his body relaxes so you’ll take that as a good signs.
He simply stares at you not saying anything. Not afraid. Curious.
Since he’s not going anywhere you might as well get comfortable. You hug your knees to your chest and look up at the sky. A smile tugs at your lips “I fell asleep tonight but I always sit here and watch the stars and the moon. It’s beautiful isn’t it? especially on nights when the moon is full.” He probably doesn’t understand a word you’re saying but you continue anyway “I sit alone but when I watch the moon but I don’t feel alone. It’s weird, maybe.” When you turn to him he’s looking up at the moon longingly. The way you look at it. Maybe you’re similar in some ways.
Suddenly he tenses and looks at the water. You don’t see or hear anything but clearly something has caught his attention. He doesn’t spare you another glance before jumping into the water and swimming away.
The next morning when walk along the beach as the sun rises you find a seashell in your path. Big and beautiful. Not like the small ones you’ve been collecting during your time here. Clean and sitting on top of the sand almost as if it’s deliberately placed there. You don’t waste time in scooping it up. Inspecting it in awe. You knew the perfect place for it.
You make your way back to the house excited with the new addition to the little trinkets and shells you’ve collected so far not noticing the head that peeks out of the water and watches your retreating figure.
The next night a rock washes up. White and almost translucent shining under the moonlight. Simple but beautiful.
You hear the water splashing and look away from the rock to see the merman, his eyes on the rock in your hand. Your brows raise in shock “You’re back.” He looks at you and his lips twitch in a wobbly smile, almost like he’s never done it before “I thought I scared you away.” You chuckle “ He shakes his head “N-no..” He rasps “I’m not scared. Not of you.” He speaks the last part softly “I didn’t know you could talk.” You feel rude for saying it but he doesn’t seem to mind “I only learned from humans. I always like listening to them talk on their boats or when they’re swimming. I’m the only one though.” He looks down sadness clouding his eye “The rest don’t like humans so they never learned.”
“What about you?” He startles “Me?” You nod “Do you not like humans?” He shakes his head furiously “I do! My family thinks they’re vile but I’ve always wanted to spend time with them.” His expressions falls again “Most are afraid of me.” You shift so you’re sitting closer to him “I’m not.” He flinches when you place your hand on top of his before relaxing. He looks at it with an unreadable expression “Yes..You’re quite different. You aren’t afraid. And you accepted my presents.” You tilt your head “Presents?” You ponder for a moment “You mean the shell and the white rock?” He nods looking down shyly “I didn’t realize they were from you but now that I know..Thank you they were lovely.” You smile. He looks at your lips and his stretch into a clumsy version of a smile and you can’t help but think of it as endearing. He can talk like humans but perhaps he’s never gotten close enough to learn expressions.
For the next few days every morning a new item would wash up on the beach and be added to your shelf and each night you sat in the same spot and talked to him for hours. Caspain, you later learned was his name.
He didn’t show it at the beginning but he was very excited to talk to a human. You were the first human he was able to talk to. All the others ran away screaming when they saw him and they never showed again. Except for you.
One night when you showed up expecting him to be waiting for you like always you didn’t find him only an open clam with a big pearl in the middle. It’s decorated with shells and smaller pearls like someone made it themselves.
You remembered you didn’t get your usual present that morning. Smiling softly you crouch down to pick it up. You had told him many times he didn’t need to bother with so many presents but he didn’t seem interested in stopping.
Your fingertips barely graze the surface of the shell when a hand shoots out of the water and grips your wrist making your heart shoot out of your chest.
His head emerges out of the water “You accept.” He mutters, voice low “What?” Your voice comes out breathless “You accept.” He repeats. Fierce determination sparking in his eyes.
He harshly pulls your arm and your body falls into the water. Water rushes into your mouth and you kick your legs to try and swim up to the surface but it’s no use when his arm wraps around your waist and pulls you back down and presses you flush against his body.
You squirm in his hold but it doesn’t deter him. His body moves quickly as he takes you deeper into the water. Small fish life around becoming a blur of color as you both shoot down deeper.
Your lungs burn and black spots dot your vision. The last thing you see is him glancing at you then looking around with panic in his eyes. You feel your body being tugged abruptly to another direction before your vision goes black

__________________________________________
Old Minister Liang had long lost interest in the pleasures of the world. A widower in his 50s..... he was respected in the emperor’s court for his wisdom and strategic mind. He had wealth, power, and influence......yet nothing sparked joy in his tired heart. That was until he saw her.....
A chubby little thing, with long ears and a nose twitching under a sheer veil, belly shaking as she twirled on the stage..... A bunny hybrid dancer, Y/N, all softness and fluff, completely out of place in the elegant palace halls. She wasn’t the most graceful performer, nor the most talented, but there was something about the way she giggled, the way her plump cheeks puffed when she pouted, that made something in Liang’s chest tighten......
She noticed him watching. A powerful man, aging but rich beyond belief? He was the perfect target. After her dance, she pranced toward him, tail wiggling as she knelt before him, wide eyes gleaming.
“Minister Liang, do you like my dance?” she asked, voice saccharine sweet.....oh... So she thought he would be an easy target?? He and heard alot from the younger emperor that he still looked good dispite his age... But lets see what this bunny is after..
The old man exhaled, trying to resist the warmth crawling up his spine. “It was…... amusing.”
She giggled, placing a soft hand on his knee. “I get tired so easily. But if I had a pretty bracelet, I’d dance even better…”
Ah.... There it is.... A greedy little thing. She wasn’t subtle. But that only made him more obsessed.
So he indulged her. Trinkets, gold, silk.....anything she asked for, he gave. She was a spoiled little pet, always demanding, always playing innocent. It was clear to everyone what she was doing. The young emperor himself teased, “Old Liang, you have truly fallen.”
He had.
But the moment she tried to leave? Tried to hop away like a mischievous rabbit who had gotten her fill? Minister Liang showed his true nature.
“Where are you going, my dear?” he asked, as he saw her trying to sneak out of the main gates of his estate her ears twitching .....his deep voice sending a chill down her spine.
Y/N laughed nervously. “Oh, just visiting a friend...”
His bony fingers wrapped around her wrist, deceptively strong. "I thought you asked for the new pearl necklace... So I was expecting a dance from you... But it seems like your heart don't want it anymore...."
Her ears drooped, her lips parting, but she knew. She had played her game too well.
This old man had turned her desire for riches and tinkrets into her cage.
Minister Liang was not the type to indulge in pleasure so he never brought company to palace functions. As widowed man of 52, he had long abandoned the need for social pleasantries beyond his duties to the emperor. But tonight was different.
Tonight, he had her.
Y/N sat beside him, wrapped in the finest silks he had handpicked himself. Her chubby cheeks were dusted with a rosy tint, and her large bunny ears twitched at every new sight. She was a stark contrast to the solemn, dignified nobles around her.......a bright, giggling presence, her little tail wiggling behind her as she bounced in her seat.
The moment they entered, whispers had spread. The cold, calculating Minister Liang… bringing the little bunny dancer whom he showed interest in?
She was unfazed, all wide eyes and delight, while Liang sat at her side, possessive in his silence.
The empress dowger the mother of the emperor, amused by the sight, waved Y/N over. “Come here, little one.”
Y/N, never one to refuse a powerful person (especially one who wore the most dazzling jade rings), skipped over with a bright smile. The empress chuckled, pulling her down to sit beside her.
“You’re adorable,” the empress cooed, pinching her soft cheek. “Look at you, all round and sweet.”
Y/N giggled, enjoying the attention. Her eyes flicked to the table......so many delicious dishes! The empress followed her gaze, smiling knowingly. She picked up a delicate piece of fruit with her own chopsticks and held it to Y/N’s lips.
“Here, have a bite.”
Y/N’s ears wiggled happily as she let the empress feed her, humming in delight. “So yummy!” she chirped, making the noblewomen around them laugh.
Across the room, Minister Liang watched, his grip tightening around his teacup.
Adorable. Too adorable.
The way her lips parted for the empress’s offering… the way she smiled so easily at another person’s touch…
The old minister knew he would have to remind his little bunny exactly who she belonged to once they returned home.
Y/N sat on Minister Liang’s lap, arms crossed, cheeks puffed in a pout. Her long bunny ears drooped slightly, twitching in frustration as she refused to meet his gaze. The old minister sighed, rubbing slow circles on her waist, his fingers sinking into the soft silk of her dress.
“What is it now, little one?” he asked, voice deep and patient.
Y/N huffed. “You were mean to me.”
Liang arched a brow. “Mean?”
She wriggled in his lap, making his grip tighten around her waist. “Yes! You didn’t let me dance with the other ladies at the function. And the empress said she would give me a golden hairpin, but you took me away before she could!”
Ah. So that was it.
Liang chuckled, his old bones settling comfortably as he pulled her closer. “You’re too spoiled, my dear.”
Her pout deepened. “It’s your fault! You made me this way.”
He hummed, fingers trailing up to her soft, chubby cheeks, pinching them gently. “Then as the one who spoiled you, I must also be the one to discipline you.”
Her ears shot up at that, eyes wide. “D-Discipline?”
Liang’s sharp gaze softened, but there something possessive and dark beneath it.
“You belong to me, little bunny,” he murmured, pressing his lips near her twitching ear. “And I take care of what’s mine… whether you pout or not.”
Y/N swallowed, her tail wiggling uncertainly, her earlier frustration melting into something else entirely. Maybe… just maybe… she had pushed him on purpose. She thought as she squeal when he softly pushed on the bed.
Y/N whimpered, her body sore and trembling as she lay sprawled across the silk sheets, her chubby form trapped beneath Minister Liang’s firm grip. Her soft bunny ears twitched, her breaths coming in uneven gasps.
“Too much?” he murmured, his deep, velvety voice laced with amusement.
She pouted, trying to push at his chest, but her arms felt weak. “You’re so mean, Minister…” she mumbled, her voice small, breathy.
Liang chuckled, his fingers trailing over the fresh marks on her skin, reminders of his claim. “And yet you keep coming back, little bunny.” He pinched her plump cheek, watching it flush under his touch. “You knew what would happen the moment you started pouting like a spoiled thing.”
Y/N’s lips quivered, her ears twitching. “Didn’t think… you’d be this rough,” she muttered... She really didn't it was the first time he had ever bed her and she had thought he won't have that much of stamina but....she whimpered shifting slightly. A sharp sting made her gasp, and she whined. “M-My legs won’t move…”
Liang exhaled, pleased. “Good.”
His old bones ached, but seeing her like this....messy, teary-eyed, exhausted from him....filled him with a sick satisfaction. His little bunny, always wiggling, always running her mouth for treats, was now too sore to even crawl away.
He kissed her temple, his rough fingers stroking her belly. “Rest now, my dear. You won’t be hopping anywhere for a while.”
Minister Liang leaned back in his chair, his sharp eyes fixed on the trembling girl before him. Y/N stood in the middle of his private chambers, her chubby frame wrapped in sheer silk, the golden anklets he had gifted her jingling softly with every hesitant step.
She pouted, her long bunny ears twitching. “I’m too tired…” she whined, shifting her weight from foot to foot. “Can’t I just cuddle with you instead?”
Liang’s lips curled into a slow, knowing smile. “No, little one. You were bold enough to tease me while I asked you to rest today, weren’t you?” His deep voice sent a shiver down her spine. “Now, dance.”
Y/N huffed but obeyed, swaying her hips, her soft body moving to the rhythm only she could hear. It wasn’t graceful....she was too clumsy and tired for that....but the way her belly jiggled with each twirl, the way her chubby thighs pressed together as she tried to balance, had him mesmerized.
She spun too fast, nearly toppling over, but Liang caught her wrist before she could fall. “Careful, my dear,” he murmured, pulling her onto his lap with ease.
She pouted again, burying her face in his chest. “Told you I was too tired…”
Liang chuckled, his fingers trailing up her thigh. “Then perhaps it’s time I reward you… in my own way.”
His little nurse
Minister Liang let out a long, weary sigh, rubbing his temples as he reclined on his cushioned seat. His body ached more than usual today, the weight of age pressing heavier on him.
Y/N, curled up beside him, noticed immediately. Her round bunny ears twitched as she peeked up at him. “What’s wrong?” she asked, her voice softer than usual.
Liang exhaled, his fingers tracing slow circles on the wooden armrest. “Just the aches of an old man, my dear,” he murmured. Then, after a pause, he added with a thoughtful hum, “I won’t live forever, you know.”
Y/N stiffened. Her little hands clutched at his sleeve, and her big, glossy eyes widened in alarm. “What? No!” she huffed, shaking her head so fast her ears flopped. “You’re not allowed to die!”
Liang chuckled at her distress, but her chubby cheeks were puffed in a serious pout. “And what will you do when I’m gone?” he teased. “Find another rich man to spoil you?”
Y/N gasped dramatically, throwing herself against his chest. “I’ll be homeless! Kicked out into the cold streets!” She sniffled, rubbing her face against him. “No more fancy dresses, no more delicious food—just me, a poor little bunny, abandoned and starving…”
Liang sighed in amusement, stroking her back. “Then you’d better keep me healthy, little one.”
Y/N sat up immediately, determination flashing in her eyes. “That’s it! From now on, no more skipping meals! No staying up too late! And—and....no stressing over those boring court meetings!”
The minister arched a brow, entertained by her sudden authority. “And if I don’t listen?”
She huffed, puffing out her cheeks. “Then I’ll—I'll bite you!”
Liang laughed, the sound deep and rich, his heart warming at her fussing. Ah, his little bunny.....so spoiled, so dramatic. But at this moment, he found himself wishing for a few more years… just to keep her worrying over him a little longer.
But the suddenly a deep, ragged cough echoed through the quiet chamber.
Y/N’s ears shot up in alarm as she turned to see Minister Liang pressing a silk handkerchief to his lips. His face was pale, his usually firm shoulders sagging under the weight of fatigue.
“Y-You’re coughing?” she squeaked, scrambling closer. “That’s not good! That’s really not good!”
Liang exhaled, waving a dismissive hand. “It’s nothing, my dear. Just a chill.”
But Y/N wasn’t convinced. Her round cheeks puffed up in worry as she grabbed his wrist, eyes glossy with distress. “No! It starts with a cough, then fever, then—then you’ll get weaker and weaker, and then—” Her voice cracked as she shook him. “You can’t die! What will I do?!”
Liang smirked despite himself, amused by her dramatics. “Would you truly mourn me, little one? Or are you just afraid of losing your comforts?”
She gasped, scandalized. “Both!”
His deep chuckle turned into another cough, and Y/N panicked all over again. “That’s it! No more greasy food! No late nights! And you’re drinking all the herbal tonics I bring you!”
Liang arched a brow. “You mean the ones that taste like dirt?”
“Yes!” she huffed, stomping her foot. “You’ll drink them, or else..”
“Or else?” he challenged, amused.
Y/N hesitated, then puffed up her chest. “Or else I won’t cuddle with you anymore!”
Liang blinked. Then, much to her horror, he sighed dramatically. “Ah, perhaps it is my time to go, then.”
“NOOO!” Y/N wailed, throwing her arms around him. “You have to live! You have to!”
The old minister chuckled, stroking her soft ears. “Very well, my little nurse. I’ll be in your care.”
Y/N sniffled, nodding firmly.
His bunny Keeping him warm
The fire crackled softly in the chamber, but the cold still clung to Minister Liang’s aging bones. He sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing his hands together, his expression unreadable.
Y/N, bundled in silk, peeked up at him with concern. “You’re still cold?” she asked softly, her little bunny ears twitching.
Liang exhaled, rolling his shoulders. “Mm. It’s nothing, my dear.”
She frowned. “Liar.”
Before he could respond, she crawled into his lap, her plump form pressing against him. “Then… use me,” she murmured, her cheeks pink. “I-I don’t mind if you’re a little rough…”
Liang’s fingers paused on her waist. “Oh?” His deep voice held a hint of something darker. See... His brain told him... Tooo soft.. to innocent for this world.
She nodded, swallowing nervously. “I just… I don’t want you to be cold anymore.”
A slow, pleased smile curled on the minister’s lips. His grip tightened, pulling her flush against him. “Careful, little bunny,” he warned, his voice a husky whisper. “Once I start… I may not be gentle.”
Y/N whimpered, her ears twitching....but she didn’t pull away.
Liang chuckled, his large hands roaming her soft body. “Good girl,” he murmured. “Then let’s see just how warm you can keep me.” and by god's... He was so warm the whole night...
Rejected by the world but accepted by her
The grand hall was silent as Minister Liang placed his official seal on the table. The young scholar before him....his brightest student, his supposed successor....as his first wife died before birthing him a hier...stood tall, eyes gleaming with ambition.
Liang smirked bitterly. Ah, youth… so eager to take what they did not earn.
“You have everything now,” Liang murmured, rising from his seat with quiet dignity. “Let’s see if you can bear its weight.”
The student bowed, feigning respect. “You have taught me well, Minister. It is time for you to rest.”
Rest. How poetic.
By nightfall, he was stripped of his titles, his estate taken, his belongings tossed onto the street like common trash. Rain poured heavily, soaking through his robes as he stood outside the gates of the home he had once ruled.
A soft, familiar voice broke through the downpour.
“Minister?”
Liang turned, and there she was—his little bunny, Y/N, bundled in a cloak, her ears flattened in distress. She ran to him, her small hands grasping at his wet sleeves. “W-What happened? Why are you out here?”
He exhaled, brushing a wet strand of hair from her face. “It seems I have been retired, my dear.”
Her round eyes shimmered with disbelief. “But… but where will you go?”
Liang chuckled, the sound hollow. “Does it matter?”
Y/N’s lip trembled before she suddenly stomped her foot. “Then you’ll stay with me!”
Liang blinked. “Oh?”
She grabbed his arm, her grip surprisingly firm. “I won’t let you sleep outside! I-I’ll take care of you now!”
The old minister stared at her for a long moment. Then, for the first time that night, a genuine smile curved his lips.
“Very well, little bunny,” he murmured, letting her pull him along. “Let’s see how well you can keep your old man.”
