#ShrunkenHeadTikiLounge #ShrunkenHead project .. #SmoothOnFreeForm clay base sculpt start. @frodiscaper gave me basics on how to get started Monday morning. The 2 part clay is incredibly weird and unlike any I've ever used. It even gets incredibly goopy sometimes but I think I got l the feel of it right away. Will be working phases as it air dries. #ShrunkenHeadTikiLounge project :Went ahead and ordered some Smooth-On Free Form SCULPT clay. Never worked with it before. @frodiscaper says it is quick to dry so have to really plan out what i want to sculpt and work in waves. Meantime here is a quick layout rough of what I want to do on the #Zeezos #Newallpost topper and the #shrunkenhead. The topper - It's got some weird old Victorian style or something the head will be sculpted with retaining portions of the post still exposed. I want the fact that it is a banister post decor from the old @zeezosinc to be somewhat pronounced. #Newallpost topper ,#ShrunkenHead project for the @shrunkenheadtiki start. #ShrunkenHeadTikiLounge sits in the basement (our ol' horror, inventory and storage area) of the old #Zeezos @zeezosinc BIG BUILDING on Tejon st. Also the former #BryanScottJewlers. The post topper is a recovered piece from the old costume shop i worked at. Here are some quick sketches for a proposed shrunken head I am going to attempt to sculpt onto the post with @frodiscaper 's guidance. Project will take awhile. Also the jangled story of how I recovered the piece. Sorry, it's a mess - but I'm also typing this at 5 A.M. post my Sunday night shift and I am 1 exhausted zombie!!
