Trekking Through History In Trekking through History, you go on a three-day tour of human history, traveling thousands of years in a time machine to experience great moments from our past. The game takes place over three rounds, each representing one day of your trip. Each day, you visit a series of historical events, spending a different number of hours at each. On each turn, you choose to visit one historical event, and spend a certain number of hours doing it. Doing so will yield benefits, like checking off items on your itinerary for points, and earning Time Crystals so you can bend the space-time continuum on future turns. The 5 playing cards of each epoch are drafted and played in 3 phases: Growth, expansion and attack. The plastic parts for clans and cities are useful. The illustrations on the more than 100 cards, are very nicely done. The instructions are also easy to understand and leave no questions unanswered.👍 Genesia hasn't convinced me yet. Tactically successful, but it feels like you're moving troops rather than building a real civilization. Still, a solid connoisseur's game. 🧐👏 🇩🇪 In Genesia geht es darum, am Ende von drei Epochen die vorherrschende Sippe auf dem Spielplan zu sein und am meisten Siegpunkte zu erreichen. Die 5 Spielkarten jeder Epoche werden gedraftet und in 3 Phasen ausgespielt: Wachstum, Expansion und Angriff. Die Plastikteile für Sippen und Städte sind zweckmäßig. Die Illustrationen auf den über 100 Karten dagegen sind sehr hübsch gemacht. Auch die Anleitung ist verständlich und lässt keine Fragen offen. 👍 Bisher hat mich Genesia noch nicht überzeugt. Taktisch gelungen, aber gefühlt verschiebt man eher Truppen, statt eine echte Zivilisation aufzubauen. Today is National Peach Ice Cream Day so today’s #GOTD is Kitchen Rush because the Piece of Cake Expansion has 30 scoops of ice cream. Kitchen Rush simulates working in a high pressure kitchen against the clock. There are four rounds of 4 minutes where you have to take orders, prepare the dishes, serve them, order ingredients, wash up and make a profit.
