Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Gel Touch foundation has quickly become my must have, summer product. One big reason was the SPF of 25/PA+++. Great for those days where you only need light protection or didn't expect to get trapped in the sun. REMEMBER - even if there's cloud coverage, this doesn't mean your protected from sun exposure. It's also perfect for summer because: The perfect consistency, similar to the bottled Les Beige foundation, but with more of a gel/jelly type smoothness & weight, is a water-based formula, which gives it a non-greasy, feather light feel that is sooo refreshing on the skin. It's surprisingly powerful & you don't need tons of it to achieve the breathtaking results. Yet, it can still be layered on those extra areas that need a bit more coverage. It reduces shine, but still gives a 'lit from within glow.' I like using the sponge to pat down the foundation at the end &/or apply small amounts in specific areas to reduce shine - aka my t-zone! It has the best shade range for cushion foundations. A lot of brands reduced their shade range for cushion foundations, but not #Chanel. You can still find those great in between shades, where the only thing that changes is the tone I.E. a neutral or pink, tone. I'm normally the palest shade there is, but have natural pink tones to my skin. So, when I tested out both shade 10 & 12, I actually found shade 10 came up darker on my skin & didn't blend as well - this was no fault of the foundation, which is highly blendable, shade 10 just didn't have the pink undertones that shade 12 Rosé did. So, bare this in mind when selecting a shade because 10 might not necessarily be the lightest for you! So, there is no chance of you being weighed down this summer, with the handbag friendly, cushion foundation from Chanel. Thank you for all the likes on my teaser picture of the #Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Gel Touch #Foundation! Here, as promised, is your reward. :) I've also tried out this foundation and OMG it is stunning. I'm going to try to get some pics, but foundation is never easy to show off in photos. It completely changed my complexion, though. This is very much a healing foundation - defo one for my Poorly Pretty Kitty's #chronicpainsucks - I mean this stuff even covered the scar on my cheek that I've had since I was 5! It is amazing. I think a lot of it is down to the texture because that helps even out and fill your skin. It plumps up the skin, adds a subtle glow, hides/fills blemishes, covers dark circles and even gives the face a slight sculpted look because of the glow it gives to the skin. I love this stuff! It even works with my skin colour, despite me normally being a shade 10 or 12. This is shade 20, which would normally be too dark for me, but it was the only shade I could get hold of. I'm glad I did! My only complaint is that the top 2 photos, showing the inside of the compact, were taken immediately after I opened it. The product was everywhere, there was no plastic seal and the cover for it, which you see in the left hand photo, had a sponge stuck to it covered in foundation (it's not the sponge you use to apply the product with). Maybe this one was a factory error, or they'll add one for retail, but even if there is a plastic seal this problem will still happen after it's removed. :s Still, it doesn't really effect the product so far and it really is a dream foundation.
