At long last: comparison swatches of the new Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Gel Touch foundation - AKA Chanel's Cushion foundation!! Swipe left for bonus photos! Shade 20 was a shade darker than I normally take, but none-the-less still blended well & didn't look fake - most people just thought I'd got a tan! :) However, when I got shade 12 it was like a match made in heaven! Despite #Chanel having a shade lower, I actually find 12 (Rosé) to be lighter than 10. I think it's cause 12 (+ 22) has milky pink undertones, instead of yellow, so it tones it down. In fact it blended so beautifully & absorbed like such a dream, that it was hard to show up on camera! Note: 12 obviously doesn't have as much colour as 20, so this made it harder for the camera to pick up + it was more prone to showing up the reflection from the flash due to the paler hues & sometimes this gave it a yellow tinge. So, if you see any yellow in shade 12 bare in mind there's none in person. It's a creamy mix of pink, ivory & whitened beige. The blended swatches pretty much disappear before the cameras eyes, due to how fantastic the formula adapts/absorbs on skin (ie why I added the swatch on the top right). Yet even with those swatches you will still notice the amazing glow the formula has! As shade 12 was my perfect match, no matter how much I layered it, it would always adapt to my skin a certain amount, (which is why swatches for shade 20 may seem thicker). I'm certainly not complaining about this & I can't give this foundation enough credit for how naturally it blends in to your skin! So, it was all these little obstacles that delayed posting & I wanted to thank you for baring with me!
