插隻 「HDMI 手指」便可啟動 Mac mini 圖像加速更流暢

除一般大大部的 Mac 機之外，相信應該都有不少人買過 Mac mini 這款迷你電腦吧？不過在使用 Mac mini 時，各位又曾否出現過畫面延遲及滑鼠標拖慢等情況呢？其實這個問題通常是由於機內的 GPU 並未完全運作，不過今日 NewerTech 發表的 HDMI 影像加速手指，就可完全解決這個問題。

其實 Mac mini 一向都相當依賴外置螢幕作為儲存裝置或媒體 server，正因如此若使用時並未有連接螢幕而採用遠端遙控操作，那麼機內的 GPU 及影像驅動程式便會無法運行，最後就會介面出現嚴重遲緩，除觀看影片時會出現拖慢及不連貫等情況外，甚至在瀏覽網頁、鼠標、開啟選單及打字等都會變得不流暢。

為解決這個問題，NewerTech 於是便決定推出最新款的 HDMI 影像加速手指（HDMI Headless Video Accelerator），其體積大致上與一隻 USB 手指差不多，只需插在 Mac mini 的 HDMI 插槽位，接著它便會令 Mac mini 誤以為已經連接了螢幕，如此一來機內的 GPU 便會正常運作，能大大提高畫面的流暢度。

據官方公開的資料顯示這款 HDMI 影像加速手指可以支援多款 Mac mini 機種，當中包括有 Macmini4,1（2010 年中）、Macmini5,1 / Macmini5,2 / Macmini5,3（2011 年中）、Macmini6,1 / Macmini6,2（2012 年尾）及 Macmini7,1（2014 年尾）等，只需在 OS X 10.6.8 或以上便可使用。目前該產品已經正式發售，而價格方面每個為 19.5 美元（約 151 港元）。
