I'm late again. But well, it is what it is. My newest WIP is for my crack lil ship, Krennic x Kleya. It’s an omegaverse (my first time writing one, I usually write stories with some elements of A/B/O, but never a proper story about it) and I'm having the time of the day working on it.
BITTER TASTE | A Krennic x Kleya story
No summary yet because the one I started wrote doesn't convey its vibes. It looks like a dramatic, angsty thing, when the idea the total opposite of it.
Because I love this gif.
Here goes a little excerpt of chapter 1 - Too close & too far
Because I love how Luthen gets the upper hand over Krennic. Sorry, no putaria in this excerpt. I don't know if it's the idea for WIP Week, so I'll leave the smut scene out xD
Orson cocks his head to the side.
“I expected more of the great Axis.” A little smile tilts his bruised, parched lips. “When you fled Coruscant barely a week ago, you left an upheaval in your wake.”
“The basics work.” He decides not to engage. Instead, he reaches for the jar, pouring some water for both. “Now, the Death Star. I assume the Empire plans to strike next. Scarif was just the beginning. We know that much.”
Orson presses his lips into a thin line. His jaw clenches. Son of a bitch—so that’s what he meant when he muttered that gibberish about him refusing to answer once the right questions were asked.
The truth serum administered hours ago seems to course through veins faster, making his heart beat quicker and his thoughts bleed into each other. His head becomes heavy, his will to lie weakens significatively. So, he does the next best thing: he doesn’t answer.
He refuses to let any sound out.
Even as the sweat drips down his forehead.
Even as the blood seems to boil in his veins.
Even as the stun cuffs bite into his wrists.
Even as the smell of victory—Luthen’s early victory and his utter defeat—grips his nose and makes him gag.
“Second question now,” he starts, voice calm, collected, the sound of someone who knows he’s won the first round. “The schematics. We know for a fact that Galen Erso has left a flaw in the Death Star.”
No where follows his question. Luthen knows he won’t receive an answer should he ask that question.
FEBRUARY AUTHOR CHALLENGE: DAY 2 Favorite Male Protagonist Written by Me: I thought about choosing Aster from The Veiled Duchess Series because he’s one of my favorite characters I’ve ever written but I want to focus on one of my new main protagonist that happens to be male. So it’s actually a protagonist I’m in the middle of writing for my new series. His name is Ash Harper and he’s 23 years old, he lives in the future world of Terra and works as a guard at the republic manor in the world capital of Spire protecting the Princess, Ellie Myre, the daughter of the Emperor of Terra. Eventually they run away together to the resistance for reasons 🤫 and find out more about who they are and how they’re truly connected. He is such an interesting character, definitely has a few similarities to Shea in the way that he’s always surprising me. He’s a daredevil, quick to jump in and help where he can. He’s protective of those he loves but less morally grey than Shea and he believes in doing what’s right. His trust can be easily earned but difficult to earn back if lost especially since he’s loyal to a fault. I’m really excited to introduce the world of Terra to you all, along with Ash and Ellie and their journey in the first book of the clone chronicles, The Replacements (WORKING TITLE). #authorsofinstagram #authorsophiamenesini #newestwip #scifibooks #theclonechronicles #thereplacements? #ashharper #elliemyre #theveiledduchessseries #theveiledthreat #theveileddescendants #captainshealara #characterinspirationactor #benbarnes (at Martinez, California) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8ExEaCgncn/?igshid=1v3jrwc2zinrv
