FEBRUARY AUTHOR CHALLENGE: DAY 6 Least Favorite Female Protagonist I’ve Written: Ellie Myre Is already know Ellie and I are going to have problems, as I’ve been establishing her character, personality, and arc over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed I’ve grown closer to her counterpart, the male protagonist of The Clone Chronicles, Ash Harper, and further away from her. She’s tricky, her reasons and ideals are specific to her past and who she is as a person and if I met her in real life I probably wouldn’t like her very much 😂 Ellie is a cautious, regal, distrustful character and yet a protagonist in many ways of the story in the future world of Terra. FEBRUARY AUTHOR CHALLENGE: DAY 2 Favorite Male Protagonist Written by Me: I thought about choosing Aster from The Veiled Duchess Series because he’s one of my favorite characters I’ve ever written but I want to focus on one of my new main protagonist that happens to be male. So it’s actually a protagonist I’m in the middle of writing for my new series. His name is Ash Harper and he’s 23 years old, he lives in the future world of Terra and works as a guard at the republic manor in the world capital of Spire protecting the Princess, Ellie Myre, the daughter of the Emperor of Terra. Eventually they run away together to the resistance for reasons 🤫 and find out more about who they are and how they’re truly connected. He is such an interesting character, definitely has a few similarities to Shea in the way that he’s always surprising me. He’s a daredevil, quick to jump in and help where he can. He’s protective of those he loves but less morally grey than Shea and he believes in doing what’s right. His trust can be easily earned but difficult to earn back if lost especially since he’s loyal to a fault.
