This is The Schuyler Diner in Lyndhurst, New Jersey in roughly the early to mid 1980’s. We used to eat there way too often. The food was good, the waitress called us hon, it was an old classic, and it never closed. We wanted to have our wedding reception there, but they wouldn’t turn away the regulars for a special occasion, so we would up at our favorite Chinese restaurant.
