Would you ever consider changing your Barry Allen to more of DCTV Barry Allen? Just wondering.

Honestly, DCTV isn’t really my thing. I get that’s what people are generally writing here but I prefer writing a comics version of the character. It’s the same reason I don’t write movie or tv verses for my other characters.

Hi everyone! My name’s Sophie, and I’m super excited to be here. I’ve been RPing for about 6 years, but I’ve been out of action for a while (uni work’s a bitch!) so please bear with me!

Some fun facts about me:

I’m doing a Creative Writing course at university. I’m currently in my third and final year

I adore Harry Potter, Gotham and Hannibal. (Also Bates Motel, Jessica Jones, The Tudors and too many shows to name)

I have 2 cats, and they are the lights of my life! Their names are Monty and Bo.

That’s all there really is to know about me. So, let me introduce you to my trash daughter, Isabella! She is technically a Gotham canon character, but the writers killed her off way too early (though I’m clinging onto the hope that she will return. Don’t get me onto the subject, or I’ll never stop talking about it!)

Here are some facts about her, to fill y’all in who don’t know Gotham:

Isabella looks exactly like Kristen Kringle, who used to work at the Gotham City Police Department. For a short while, Kristen dated Edward Nygma, but then he killed her, chopped her up, and buried her in the woods. Oops.

Isabella met Edward in a wine store, and they hit it off immediately. She seemed perfect for him. Almost too good to be true, in fact. She was fine with the fact that Edward had killed Kristen. She liked riddles. She seemed to be totally enamoured with Ed. So, the two of them were dating, but then Oswald got jelly and had Isabella murdered.

That’s all we have as far as canon goes, so far. I live in hope that Isabella will return, or we’ll at least get some explanation for her weirdness. But, until then, from here on out, this is my own personal canon, and it deviates from the show as of 3.09 of Gotham. 

The reason Isabella looks exactly like Kristen is because she is, in fact, Kristen’s clone. She was made in Indian Hill by Dr. Hugo Strange, and moved from the facility when they evacuated the Arkham Asylum building. She spent the next year in the new facility.

She was implanted with false memories, which is what “Isabella’s life” is. She was never a librarian, and she never had a life before Indian Hill. She was told that she’d had an accident, which explained the odd gaps in her memory.

To hurt Oswald, the Court of Owls ordered Strange to send Isabella after Edward, under instructions to seduce him. She did so, which is why she seemed so perfect. Because she was, in fact, placed in Ed’s path to take him away from Oswald.

Isabella did truly fall in love with Ed. She had been told what to say to make him love her, but she genuinely cared for him. Were it not for her untimely death, she would have been more than happy to stay with him, ignoring the odd coincidence that she looked like Kristen.

In the Gotham universe, clones are pain resistant, and having healing abilities. Isabella was hit by the train, and she appeared clinically dead for a number of hours, which allowed the Court of Owls to swoop in (ha ha) and take Isabella’s body away.

It wasn’t until Isabella was killed and brought back that she regained Kristen’s memories. The experience of dying and coming back to life jogging something inside her, and the DNA from which she was cloned essentially “woke up”. The traumatic experience of being hit by a train awakened her knowledge of her past life.

Righteously furious at what the Court, and Ed had done to her, Isabella waited for the right time to escape the facility the Court had taken her to. She eventually broke out, and went on the run for a number of years, forced into hiding, lest the Court find her.

Now, years later, the Court has long since given up their search. Isabella has come to Star City and taken up her old job again, intent on killing Edward and Oswald for what they did to her.

That’s all I can really say for the time being, but more will come when I start writing her! I’m thrilled to be here. Hit me up for plots! ^_^
