You shed light

On things hidden

in plain sight

Until we reside

In the Word.

So I reserve

That Your understanding

Doesn’t come

From my demanding

It isn’t produced

Through stranded planning

Or glances to the passing

IT is only found in You

So I seek You on the contrary

When the world seeks me

to live from commentary.
