Day 22
Another "Newton Village" today.
I now only have 2 more left in the series! Today was Newton Upper Falls. This was a multi cache with only 2 stages. I really enjoyed this one. The view along the walk was quick nice.
The first stage had the coordinates posted at the top of one of the sign posts, and then there was a path along the Charles River that I followed.
There were a lot of bird nests along this path.
The Charles River wasn't frozen, and I was happy it wasn't too cold because getting to the final stage would have been quite difficult if it was icy.
The hint for the final stage was an "old discarded tie" There were many ways to interpret that, but a colleague of mine who has done this series gave me a hint that it wasn't a neck tie.
A railroad tie!! Cache was easy to get once I found that.
