Leave it to good ol' Mother Nature to welcome us back to campus with an icy -13°. Granted, the temps have warmed up from when I last checked at 7:30 this morning, but still! Rather than dwell on the cold, let's kick-start Spring Semester with some new tracks for your listening pleasure during the week of class syllabuses and long book store lines. Enjoy!
1. I'm a big Mac DeMarco fan, so this new single off his upcoming record, Salad Days, got me giddy with excitement. It's mellow, easy-listening to fit his Marco vibes. After you hear "Passing Out Pieces", be sure to view his album-teaser video to promote the April 1st release.
2. Howler, a Minneapolis-based indie rock band is set to release their 2nd full-length album, World of Joy, in March. Today the group put out their first single, "Don't Wanna", fully equipped with a video (which I've added below, just for you!)
