(2/2) Remember, anything you practice, you will become good at. The trick is, don’t stop trying new things because you fear failure or being just ok. I think it has less to do with being a commanding presence at everything you try and more to do with being someone who tries. The arch of your back, the reach in your cerebral and spiritual muscles keep you limber and strong. It keeps you adding to the world around you. In new and magnificent ways you never saw coming. And, I really do think it keeps you young. Only those who stop growing, grow old. To be clear: I’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with staying in the same job for 50 years. This can be a commendable feat. But...if you are staying there because you don’t want to try something new because you fear looking clumsy or silly...I think you’re not serving yourself well and rigidity will set in. And, you will resign your best days to being the ones behind you and not in front of you. Remember, we become good at anything we do often. If you try new things often, you’ll become good at trying. And, trying new things beyond my comfort plain has never killed me. In fact, it’s has made me my most strong and adaptable self. On the day that I die, I will be reaching and stretching beyond myself and I will still believe my best days are still ahead😉 #bestdaysahead #newtries #newbeginnings #whocaresifilooksilly (at Brixx Wood Fired Pizza Foxcroft) https://www.instagram.com/p/BztanMIJ9mx/?igshid=1x5l9k9rxswvl
