So I submitted this art of Nepeta Leijon and it is a sadstuck, where nepeta is wounded facing Gamzee to the nepeta Leijon group on DA. I hadn’t read the rules before I submitted it even though in the rules: 

They ended up declining it and sent this message right after (this is the creator btw). 

In their rules, I was supposed to be given a warning but instead i got treated like garbage and my art was insulted for no reason. I didn’t provoke them at all or say anything to them prior to their message (even though I admit, it does look like nepeta is dying in the drawing).

I apologized at the end, but it still doesn’t change the fact that they called my art “garbage” and told me to fuck off when they could’ve just explained why I was declined in a respectful way and be a little nicer????

I would never bash on anyone but no one who is a creator of a fandom group should ever be treating others (or anyone for that matter) who are in the fandom like this, especially if this person is aiming to be a number one fan of Nepeta Leijon. What, by suppressing others art in the fandom? 

I apologized and didn’t force them to accept my post submission because I understand that I might’ve violated one of their submission rules, however this kind of behaviour should not be tolerated. I made this post because they need to know that this is not okay and as you can see clearly private messages aren’t going to change that (I DM’ed them but they never replied). Don’t send them hate, this is just to make people aware that before you put effort into your submissions to a fandom group, make sure the creator is an understanding person <3
