1/3 #dearGreatGrandchild it’s @instaeatsCapeTown #NewWeekNewSpot with @danilo_acquisto and @MediaManDean time and I’m going to try not say this too loud, but I was always at a loss for a place to eat at in the Gardens Centre in Cape Town… I’m not sure why nothing really appealed to me, but I think it’s because being part of the Instaeats team, I am a person who could be thought of as spoiled… I’ve heard the word snob being thrown around, but I feel like life is too short for bad food… this brings me to the spot of the moment and that is @pulpkitchensa and instead of it impressing me, these guys left me speechless. Their food is incredible and I was pleasantly surprised to find them on our journey. When food is this good, we sometimes forget the people responsible for it… not this time… this is Goodwin and he is the resident baker at Pulp Kitchen. #dearGreatGrandchild @instaeatscapetown #NewWeekNewSpot with @mediamandean and @Danilo_Acquisto took us to the winelands just a stones throw away in the Constantia Valley and how much more ‘Wine' could @chardonnaydeli sound?  This place can only be described as a gem on the side of the road, it’s almost like a Padstal (loosely Afrikaans for Farm Stall) you’d stop off at on a major highway, but it’s right there in the heart of one of our most beautiful suburbs.  These guys got it right and have a long history to prove it, it’s always great to be in places with a story.  #instaeatscapetown #foodphotography #food #capetown #deli #bakery #cake #bewildered #lookingin #visualcurative (at Chardonnay Deli)

#dearGreatGrandchild I love me an @instaeatscapetown #NewWeekNewSpot, but when it's at a brewery that's just started their own taproom, I get that little bit more excited than usual. This time round, it's exactly what happened, we went to the new @jackblackbeer taproom in Diep Rivier, Cape Town, had some time to try out their food offering, their beers, some old and some new and to just hang out with good friends @tegansmithphotography and @iamphillblack, now that's an afternoon well spent. #dearGreatGrandchild if this was your view and you looked straight down you'd see the one place that has been as much part of Camps Bay, Cape Town as we could imagine... This place is called @cafecaprice and it was the place for our @instaeatscapetown #newweeknewspot for this week and they took the time to show us they were more than just the capital of the cocktail, but a great burger spot too. I was joined by the crew @danilo_acquisto and @mediamandean and local @mrcapetown who was the perfect guest for our afternoon of cocktails and burgers perfectly paired for our enjoyment and guess what! They didn't do it just for us, it's a 'thing' now and it was awesome... So next time the hunger takes over and you're looking for that perfect sunset... #dearGreatGrandchild - there's a lot that goes into making a place great, it can be a variety of things or just one that makes it extraordinary, but with @lustbistro there are so many elements that come together to make this place one of my favourites. I'm a sucker for a good view, earthy tones, the smell of fresh bread, good hospitality and good friends... I guess, Lust couldn't supply the friends, but they certainly brought out the best of our @instaeatscapetown #NewWeekNewSpot guests, @traceface_za @mishka.patel and @marcospaumer plus the legends that I get to do these experiences with @mediamandean and @danilo_acquisto it was an amazing combination... I think I'm even considering building a tree house in one of the trees on the farm because I never want to leave. In the words of #AsherG "20 Hundred out of 10" (at Lust Bistro & Bakery)

#dearGreatGrandchild - #NewWeekNewSpot has and will be one of my favourite things. It's such an honour to enjoy the best of what the Cape has to offer with good friends and a lot of the time also with new people we're lucky enough to meet. It's almost a year since @instaeatscapetown began and we've grown so rapidly over the last six months where on one hand we feel like we've been at this for ages and other times amazed how short it's been. Our visit to @grootconstantia was no different where we were treated to an amazing picnic under the trees with @markwijs @benikepalfi and a new kid on the block and the host of new YouTube channel "Good Looking and Cooking" @claire_winstanley. If I have any advice to give others reading this who are right here right now... #dearGreatGrandchild - I love my coffee. There are so many different ways it can be made, so many flavours it can produce and living in Cape Town we really have the cream of the crop to choose from. Which brings me to this week's @instaeatscapetown #NewWeekNewSpot with the two legends @mediamandean and @danilo_acquisto. Since we started visiting the great spots that our city has to offer, we've been exposed to many great coffee shops like @motherlandcoffee in the heart of Cape Town's CBD.
