ISFJs live in a world that is concrete and kind. They are truly warm and kind-hearted.. and want to believe the best of people. They value harmony an cooperation, and are likely to be sensitive to and conscious of other people's feelings. They have a rich inner world that is not usually obvious to observers — they take in information about people constantly, and store it away. They have exceptional memory about things that are important to their value systems.
ISFJs have a clear idea of the way things should be, something they strive to attain. They value security and kindness, and respect traditions and laws. They tend to believe that existing systems are there because they work, and rarely stray from following the rules.
More so than other personality types, ISFJs are extremely conscious of their own internal feelings, as well as other people's feelings. They do not usually express their own feelings, keeping things inside. If they are negative feelings, they may build up inside the ISFJ until they turn into firm judgments against individuals which are difficult to unseed, once set. Many ISFJs learn to express themselves, and find outlets for their powerful emotions.
The ISFJ feels a strong sense of responsibility and duty. They take their responsibilities very seriously, and can be counted on to follow through. People naturally tend to rely on them for this very reason, as they have a hard time saying no when asked to do something — and may become overburdened. They intensely dislike conflict, and do not usually express their difficulties to others, because they tend to place other people's needs over their own.
The ISFJ is warm, generous, and dependable. They have many special gifts to offer, in their sensitivity to others, and their strong ability to keep things running smoothly. They need to remember to not be overly critical of themselves, and to give themselves some of the warmth and love which they freely dispense to others.

COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS
EXTRAVERTED INTUITION - dominant ➜ ENTPs are nothing if not unique. Brave new associations flow freely from the unconscious into the world of the living. Making, discovering and developing connections between and among two or more of anything is virtually automatic. The product of intuition is merely an icon of process; ENTPs are in the business of change, improvement, experimentation. The attraction Extraverted iNtuition has toward the real and physical amounts to a cosmic non sequitur: theory is drawn to practice. Such encounters are clearly puzzling. Both parties—the intuitor and the realist—are aware of a xenic quality in their meeting, with reactions ranging from recoil to reverie.
INTROVERTED THINKING - auxiliary ➜ Thinking is iNtuition’s ready assistant, an embodiment of the sort of logic found in laws, boards and circuits. Thinking’s job is to lend focus and direction to iNtuition’s critical mass. The temporary habitations of changeling iNtuition are constructed of Boolean materials from Thinking’s storehouse. Ultimately, Thinking is no match for iNtuition’s prodigiousness. Systems lie in various states of disarray, fragmentary traces of Thinking’s feverish attempts to shadow and undergird the leaps of the dominant function. One can only suppose that Thinking must continue to work during REM sleep pulling together iNtuition’s brainchildren into integral wholes.
EXTRAVERTED FEELING - tertiary ➜ To the extent that Feeling is developed, ENTPs extravert Feeling judgment. As a result, it is not uncommon to find affability and bonhomie in members of this species. Tertiary functions are potentially utilitarian. Their limitations appear in their relative underdevelopment, diminished endurance, and vulnerability. ENTPs may harness Feeling’s good will in areas such as sales, service, drama, humor and art. ENTP loyalty often runs high and can be hooked by those the ENTP counts as friends.
INTROVERTED SENSING - inferior ➜ Like a tail on the kite of iNtuition, Introverted Sensing counterweighs these beings drawn to nonconformity and anarchy. These shadowy sensory forms, so familiar to SJ types, serve as lodestones which many ENTPs employ Herculean measures to escape. “Question authority! (then do exactly what it tells you)” sums up the dilemma in which ENTPs may find themselves by attempting to best the tarbaby Sensing. Occasionally acknowledging awareness of norms and abnormality could, in theory, be potentially freeing. Additionally, ENTPs have the need to have areas of expertise, excellence, or uniqueness in which one is second to none. You’ll never beaten an ENTP at their own game - not in the final analysis.

Not once Francesca made any effort to speak, her eyes fluttering open only to stare at the ceiling as her mother’s hands held onto hers tightly, still shaking in fear. The sound of her voice, her touch and even that annoying smell of fresh flowers were now harder to endure than the excruciating pain in her muscles, for not even the most loving gesture could erase the fact that, once more, she had failed. Francesca refused to cry or show any signs of weakness, her expression changing only when a smile was necessary to comfort her parents, grandparents, or even Joseph.
Francesca refused to tell anyone else, even the rest of the family. Against all odds, there was no expectation on her part that things would change, in part because she didn’t want it anymore. The small blonde wanted only one thing --to die, and that had already been taken away from her against her will. It seemed incredibly selfish even for her, to wish so desperately for something so cruel for her family, but how fair could it be to go back to the living hell that was her life? You can’t give up, her parents repeated with reassuring smiles that at that point meant nothing to her. Francesca smiled, nodding in agreement, the absence of words justified by the traumatic experience, as the doctors said. Little did they know that it was only her choice, as if not talking would somehow get her close to be nonexistent.
Enjoying the silence after her parents left, the girl shifted in bed, her eyes shut tightly. Three days had passed since she had attempted suicide and still no emotion flooded her expression, not a single hint of change that would give everyone the hope that everything would be okay. Francesca was tired of pretending it was okay just for the sake of others, when no one really cared to do the same for her. The attacks at school weren’t just a joke; the bruises in her arms weren’t a result of her clumsiness; the thoughts that echoed in her mind weren’t just a reflection of a weak girl. They had ripped her down and apart, a useless fat girl who had nothing but her name to save herself, for not even the shadow of her strength was enough to make them stop. Francesca Van der Bilt was just nothing.
A small sigh left her lips, followed by the sudden need to stand up. There was no point in refusing to feel the ground under her feet, too, after all. Ignoring the pain as she could, she kicked the covers and forced her legs to move to the side. The floor was cold compared to her skin, heating up quickly as the pain threaten to weaken her even more; She fought, but one step was all it took for her body to fail and fall down, her muscles aching as if being torn apart. For the first time, Francesca whined, the tears welling her eyes in a matter of seconds.
“Make it stop!” In her mind, her voice was loud, when in reality was nothing but a sour whisper.
The small body started shaking, the pain increasing every time she tried to stand up just to fail and hit the cold floor again. Pressing her lips together, she fought a loud scream, leaning against the wall and forcing herself up. It seemed ironic that, being kept from her true wish, the aftermath was becoming weaker than before. The thought rendered her more tears, that she showed no intention to stop. There was no one there to hear her anyway.
It took what it seemed like forever for her to actually enter the bathroom, her feet dragging her slowly in an attempt to keep her knees from giving up. Francesca held onto the sink, looking at her reflection with pure hatred. The girls had Constance could be the ones to trigger her breakdown, but she was the weak one. She was the one to let them in only to destroy everything she held inside. And now there she was, the living proof of failure, being punished with pain when everything she wanted was to stop it. She couldn’t be just that; the small young girl who kept repeating the same mistakes and let others take away the best of her. Even then, her gaze was low and submissive. Weak.
Her legs threaten to let her fall once more when there was nothing more to relief the pain, but the blonde forced herself to endure it. The tears streamed down her soft cheeks, the sobs became louder and louder as her lungs didn't’ seem to allow the hair to fill them. Her hands pressed against her chest, holding on to the thin piece of clothing that covered her fragile body. She wasn’t that, she refused to be one more piece of the Upper East Side devious game, a disposable person who could be thrown away easily. She didn’t want to give up completely, to be known as the girl who preferred death instead of upholding herself. Enough of people stepping over every single thing in her life, it was time for her to take control. The beautiful features hid someone who was hardly weak or a fragile as everyone believed and saw --even herself.
Breathing out heavily, her hands let go. Ferociously, the girl screamed with all her strength, her chin tilted up as her voice became louder and louder. --Her body felt like it was set on fire by the pain and for the first time, Francesca Van der Bilt felt truly alive.
