so much autism. so much lore. i am going to die
Spent some time making a nexgen skin for my girl Golden Glitz. Also threw together a quick scene to show it off
clancy and nex gen birthday tomorrow im so excited !!
Best day ever! xD
the transitions between all the songs go so hard
IM GONNA YELL ABOUT BMTH LORE. WHY? BECAUSE I FUCKING CAN. if you don't want to read an infodump that makes next to no sense about NexGen then skip this lol.
so i'm thinking about kool-aid and how it's about near-death experiences and essentially the church of genxsis bringing its followers as close as possible to death without killing them right? and then how that connects to the rest of the album. you want to reach youtopia, which is this happy, fully-developed version of yourself, but doing the work to get there is fucking hard. so you take the injection and of course it brings you to this fucked-up, twisted version of it that feels really great for about five seconds until it crashes and burns. this is an extended metaphor for drugs and vices and a lot of other stuff aljfdksljflsd (static break). then, by limousine, you're so used to the pain of the comedown that you've resigned yourself to this inescapable cycle. you can't tell pleasure from pain anymore ("i've got my hands around your throat/i love the way you choke"), but you still want to get out and get to the real youtopia. but you don't know how to get there without near-death experiences or dmt, both of which have been considered "religious experiences". It's also about this escapism that came after the pandemic ("a home beyond our bones"), and ai and drugs promising escape yet knowing that there isn't one. knowing that, to achieve youtopia, you have to do the hard work yourself ("no one's gonna come and rescue me").
yeah this made NO sense. because it's adhd autistic YAPPING and YELLING because i'm OBSESSED.
anyway.
have a nice day!
