「Next A-class」produced by Mercedes-Benz
メルセデスベンツジャパンから新型Aクラスを題材にしたアニメーションが発表された。
テレビCM版では約15秒の作品であるが、本編は約6分のショートアニメとなっている。
Mersedes-Benz japan released an animation which features new A-class.
TV commercial version is edited for 15 seconds, but main part is 6 minutes.
なんと制作に「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」や「おおかみこどもの雨と雪」や「サマーウォーズ」で有名なキャラクターデザイナーの貞本 義行氏や「BLOOD+」や「++HORIC」の作画を代表する黄瀬 和哉氏の他、「GHOST IN THE SHLF／甲殻機動隊」や「スカイ・クロラ The Sky Crawler」の演出を手掛けた西久保 瑞穂氏が担当しているというから驚きだ。
This animation is made by some famous and satisfactory creators. First,Yoshiyuki Sadamoto who design a lot of animation characters, " Neon Genesis Evangelion", "The wolf children ame and yuki." and "Summer wars." for instance, took part in it. Second, Kazuya Kise who draw "BLOOD+","++HORIC", took part in it. Third, Mizuho Nishikubo who produce the characteristic world,"GHOST IN THE SHLF", "The Sky Crawler",took part in it.
ストーリーは近未来の東京が舞台。主人公であるリコがひょんな事がきっかけで、都市伝説化されている伝説の“アレ”に遭遇し、新型Aクラスで追跡するというものだ。
This stage is on Tokyo of near the future. A main character is Riko, who is japanese girl. As she encountered a tradition "something" by pure chance, she chases it by new A class.
作画がとにかく素晴らしい。アニメーション自体とても綺麗で、見事なカーチェイスを表現している。また、日本たる所以の様々な要素がちりばめられていて、それも面白い。
