Originally the Damian one was going to be another Tim one. So I used a reference of a guy with a baseball bat because I thought it’d be funny for Tim to just haul off and whack someone like that with his bo staff. But then as I got into the suit it looked more like Damian and I hadn’t drawn that guy yet so I decided to take the chance and pivot. Even though the pose doesn’t fit as well for his use of a katana

I love the look of some of the more armored/padded Robin suits. So for Damian I took inspo from some of my ren faire reenactment friends. So the armor Damian is wearing here is very European inspired. Which is okay for a lil sketch. But I really want to redo it and use references from the Middle East as a nod to his background.

Ted goes back to Kansas before the West Ham game.

Nate coming back plus Jamie's amazing playing makes Ted confident that they'll do fine without him there.

And now that he has his mom's voice echoing in his head that his son misses him, he decides to leave immediately and send for his stuff

But when he gets back to Kansas, Henry's fine. Of course he's happy to see his dad and happy to have him home, but ovet the last 3 years he and his mom have gotten into a good rhythm for getting to school, going to after school sports, doing homework, dinner, tv, and then bed.

Sure, Ted fits right back in, but there's a lot of hours where Henry's not even home so it's mostly him awkwardly sitting around his and michelle's old house

After a week, Henry finally asks his dad why he's back. Ted, of course, tells him that he loves him and doesn't want to be away from him and just wants to be the best possible dad he can be to him

Henry, looking incredibly confused, tells him that he's already the best dad. That even though he's far away he knows how much Ted loves him. That if he's ever scared or upset he knows he only has to facetime and Ted'll pick up and be there with all the support and love and advice.

And then Henry tells him that he was glad he was in london with the Richmond team because Ted finally looked like he was happy again. That he knows his mom and dad were unhappy for a long time and he doesn't want to see him sad again.

Plus! He's gotta get back for the West Ham game! He'd promised Henry that he was gonna win it all!

So Ted and Henry rush back to london just in time to make it to the game. Henry sits with Keeley and Rebecca while Ted goes out to coach. He shares a nod with Beard, gets a grunt and smile from Roy, and a "You came back!" from Nate.

And as Ted watches his team take to the field, he looks out over it all and knows this is where he belongs
