#Repost @nextpint.nikic ・・・ Your daily dose of alley drinking!😝🍊🍺 • Promised you a review on the Blood Orange Daze from @ghosttrain (Birmingham, Ala). The Daze series has been pretty hit or miss for me - Passion Fruit just was just a little too sweet for my liking. However, this Blood Orange (8.2% NEDIPA) rendition said f*k the sweet, I’ll give you all the bitter goodness you want. It welcomed me with a light, citrusy aroma as if you were squeezing the ends of an orange peel to pop each of those tiny citrus vessels under my nose; proceeded with a full-bodied, pithy, boozy liquid and a burst of blood orange juiciness. I like a pretty big hop profile, so I was a little underwhelmed with the hops - but it worked well with the balance of the bitterness. Overall, I think it lived up to the New England style it claims, and I definitely enjoyed it and will be buying more (luckily I’ve found some four packs in a couple local grocery stores🙌 Publix, Rouse’s and the Pig😉). Coronavirus may have canceled some of our favorite events this year, but it also triggered one of the biggest craft beer collabs in history from breweries around the world 🌎and that’s pretty rock ‘n roll to me🤘🏻Thoroughly enjoyed some Post Malone & Billie Eilish while dancing in a bikini in my backyard and drinking my first All Together collab from @otherhalfnyc x @trimtabbrewing 🔥 it has that signature hoppy aroma and palate I love from OH along with a southern softness from that Trim water profile. Lol Enjoyed this Honeycomb Tasting Room from @monkishbrewing last night - a milk honey double ipa with a dash of vanilla. Creamy and soft with that silky honey flavor on the tip of my tongue.
