Other Half Brewing, "Forever Simcoe"

A super-soft beer in the mouth, the handcraft and artisanry of Other Half are evident in this one as in all of their beers. Yet it is possibly a tad anonymous and added the hefty price tag - you have to fork out some 13 to 15 € a can for these beers in Europe - it’s not a beer I would recommend anyone should buy. That said, I really enjoyed it. There are subtle notes of peach and nectarines, and a mild touch of pine and flowers. Geeks only.

OH brewed this great beer on a Cali swing several years ago and they stoked to take a shot at it. Originally brewed in Monterey, California, a collaboration Double IPA with some of their heroes in the beer industry, NYC's Other Half Brewing. Dry hop consistenting of Mosaic, Idaho 7, El Dorado & Denali. . Nose is tropical. Taste is fruity, tropical fruit, with notes of pineapple, cantaloupe, citrus, passion fruit, and peach. It’s piney and earthy. A bit sweet and has a great creamy mouthfeel.
