i know i shouldn't capitalize things to emphasize them (or at least should be consistent between italics vs capitalizing) but eeeehhhh this is fanfic no one cares

someone mentioned the fate of the experiements, and riku just casually is like "oh i thought it was quieter around here" and joseph's kneejerk reaction was to punch riku in the eye

except

one problem

as much as i love the idea of joseph punching riku, i have to stay true to his character and..... joseph isn't violent. and while he's upset about what happened, he's not THAT upset, and it would take more than a thoughtless and insensitve comment from riku to make him GET that upset

like, riku would've had to have said something like "well you should be glad they're gone" but that's TOO CRUEL--i know riku is inherently cruel, but, not quite to that extent. he's cruel, but he's not heartless (and he's also not upset rn nor is he annoyed with joseph)

so, i mean

i guess this isn't happening

i'd still like to give riku a black eye though i'm thinkin on how to do that
