Something really cool that I haven't seen anyone mention is the ad page at the end of New Gods #12.

You have heard me talk about the Jack Kirby Museum many times. It's the organization that our Fourth World Calendar proceeds went to! And I just thought it was a very nice and clever touch to place this ad right here at the very end, opposite the last page that wrapped up an amazing run for the newest incarnations of our favorite characters. And would you look at that? The ad even features images pulled from the original New Gods and Mister Miracle! Anyway, thought it was cool. If you have a few spare dollars to throw their way, they have a donation page for the digital archive here.

National Gathering!

Was mostly just excited to see Kenneth tbh. Haven't seen him since last years gathering. However, Friday was alright. Had a few problems though :/ Saturday was suuuuper long and tiring. The workshops were good :Dand the award ceremony! BG won best youth group :D and congrats again to Dan for winning his award! (You're awesome :)) The disco was really good as well. Just a pity Gemma wasn't feeling up to it ;__; Sunday (today) was kinda a bit boring :/ well the service review was...the VU presentation wasn't (though I fumbled over my words a little). When it was time to say goodbye I was in tears. I don't like to think I won't see half these people again for another year ;___; Really enjoyed it all though :D asdfghjkl;
