A ghost has been exorcised
I pray that the demons of my past, however small or great, may all be exorcised in due course. This particular one is related to my musical struggles. Those of you who don't know Newgrounds very well, there's a yearly major musical tournament called the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch, which happens around this time each year. Because for the longest time, I'd been abused by my parents and people around me when I wanted my musical gift to flourish, I joined the NGADM to hopefully ascribe a modicum of worth to my music. The first attempt of mine ws in 2012, and the person who defeated me was a very well-known musician who had all the support in the world. For a long time, I'd been hovering between revenge and despair. But now, I am at peace. His work cannot be remade, but mine can. And for once, the true form of my work can be heard. For this, and the peace granted to me, I am grateful. My heart can finally speak out the way it intended, without anger or fear over what happened.
